The Strange Case of Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde by Robert Louis Stevenson
Date completed: 5 July 2016
Pages: 144
Goal: E2, H1, L3 (Book One 100-150)
I would volunteer for a sprint, but we're in the process of moving and I don't want to commit and then not be able to come through for you guys. I could volunteer for a coaching spot! If I recall correctly, coaching books don't have to be read at the same time as the sprinter, right?
I was looking at our spreadsheet and saw that we still have a couple of ARM spots open for Event 3. This is the cover of the version of Sense and Sensibility that I'm planning on reading:
Would that work for ARM? If so, I'd be willing to take one of the spots!

[book:The Ma..."Sounds good to me :) I know a couple of the books I listed would work for distance in Event 3. I'll see if I can find anything with arms on the cover.

The Magicians would work for Titles with 12 letters.
Hamilton: The Revolution might work for needing a person, but it's just a silhouette, so I'm not 100% sure.Have we decided on Team Colors?
Anansi Boys The cover of this is over 60% blue (though it's different shades of blue... does that count?) Here's the link: http://labs.tineye.com/color/a61484b0...
Here's a list of each of the "legs" for the page jumping event and the books I know I have access to and was planning to read anyways. I can fit in wherever you need.100-150: The Strange Case of Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde 144 pages
151-200: Charlie and the Chocolate Factory 155 pages
201-250: The Life-Changing Magic of Tidying Up: The Japanese Art of Decluttering and Organizing 213 pages
251-300: Hamilton: The Revolution 288 pages
301-350: Sense and Sensibility 327 pages
351-400: Anansi Boys 384 pages

Murder on a Girls' Night Out by Anne George
Date completed: 3 July 2016
Pages: 260
Goal: Event 1, Heat 1, Leg 3
Happy birthday, Heather!Finished my book for Event 1, Heat 1! Now I'm looking through my books to see what can fit with Event 2. I'll post a list later. I'll look for stuff that might work with Event 5, as well. This is so much fun!
Hope everyone is having an awesome 4th of July weekend :)
I got a couple more books crossed off of my list! I really liked Ella Enchanted and will be passing it on to my daughter for her to read. I was not a fan of Moby-Dick; or, The Whale... I didn't realize that someone could write quite so much about whaling...

Finally finished Moby-Dick; or, The Whale!! That is several hours of my life I will never get back...
Moby-Dick; or, The Whale by Herman Melville
Date completed: 30 June 2016
Pages: 663 (default version)
Goals: Works for historical (357 tags), fantasy (48 tags), young adult (28 tags), romance (11 tags), and, if you really want to stretch the rules, non-fiction (11 tags... so weird)
Other info: Definitely glad I listen to the audio version...
Here's a couple more I found that might help with the relay. Not the most common words, but just throwing as much out there as I can, just in case.Strange Candy
Once Upon a Time in the North
Hanover House
Dawn of the Dreadfuls
There's also these with the words you suggested:Rosencrantz and Guildenstern Are Dead (only the last word, of course)
Never Cry Wolf
No problem! Here's some I picked that have pretty common words and are around 200 pages:Into the Wild
Black Beauty
Grave Sight
Ever After: A Cinderella Story
Dead Poets Society (the society part might be rough... just a possibility!)
Girl in the Red Hood
I can volunteer! I'm not going to be doing much of anything this weekend, so I know I can knock out a short book. I can listen to an audiobook while packing, too.
I am completely flexible with whatever I read. If we're having trouble with the relay, I would definitely be willing to try and find something that fits, even if it's not on my TBR/a genre I usually enjoy. I actually like the fact that this challenge might push me outside of my comfort zone!

I am pretty excited about all those page points, lol. Thanks for the packing encouragement :)
