I agree that goat meat probably won't work. I think they are wanting the actual animals.
Christina, I don't think anyone has actually found a a book for that prompt? But it'd be good to see what yours fits - I'd suspect HP5 fits quite a few.

It's a constantly moving target!
The only one I haven't seen mentioned with a specific book is "Features a lion, snake or goat." I think they just have to see the animal - at a zoo, in the wild, etc.
Sorry - that's probably not much help

@Leslie - Sadly, we can't use Macbeth for Tower Teams because it is MPG "Play" so we have to check word count, which needs to be over 30,000. And it comes in a little over 19,000. Sorry!

Zuza that's great - it's so nice when a book covers two things - and it's hard to find!

My book
Chasing the Lion fits Chimera task 1 and 4 (the page #s and MPG War). Sadly it does not feature a lion, goat or snake, (I'd guess) because "the Lion" is the nickname of a bad guy they are chasing. Unless you think that would count.
I'm about 100 pages from being done with that one. Anyway, we can use it or save it either way.

Nice job Cris!

Nice job Alyana - that book fits lots of prompts. And nothing to be sorry about - it's not really possible to read at the same pace every single week - moods and circumstances change.

Wow nice find! I'm so impressed you found something that fits both prompts. When I think of deserts, I don't associate mirrors.

Awesome getting a new monster - and fantastic two of the planned BOMs fit!
Zuza that's so great you found an open plain book!
I finished my bird book - it was SO focused on birds :) I am more than halfway through the #6 in series book, but the road was curving and I couldn't read. However the scenery was beautiful so it was good not to read anyway. And now we are home and I have some unpacking and cleaning to do. But I'll try to get it done before bed. I still need to mark the bird book read, etc. too. That'll be my reward in a bit!

Great job Ashlee!! We will get the link figured out

On weekends it's the worst because they should be the opposite of long and stressful

Oh yeah - HP6 would be perfect for that! If you are close to finishing #5, feel free to take that bird prompt! The one I'm reading also works for open plains and I'm sure for future monsters too.

We have one more long day of driving, then a shorter, 4 hour day, so I found a couple of books that will fit missing prompts - "features a bird" and "#6 in series". I'm perfectly fine if they end up getting banked though!! Sadly, I couldn't find a 6 in series book I own that also features birds.
I have tons of rolling plains books, and I found a sandals book I can read if I have to, but it'd be a re-read so I'll wait a little bit on that one.
I suspect I like finding books for things almost as much as actually reading them.

Oh that is excellent justification! A harpooned fish is much different than catching something on a fishing line. With that, I'd say yes, I think it'd work.

I looked on the goals faq and it doesn't have anything about rope there so that may be worth asking in the captains group.

That's a great question and wow - I'm not sure! Maybe?

The years do blend like that :)

Here's the Amazon link to confirm pa..."I requested the update to the Librarians. Thanks for providing those links!

I finished both my Cyclops books - so we will get a new monster at some point!

I finished Jade War and was able to update the spreadsheet from my phone. I'll for sure finish What the Flock today and I should have internet and be able to link it in the Spreadsheet tonight. Amazon shows it has 242 pages. I can't see pages on the app but I may need to post in the Librarians group tonight to get those added to Goodreads. sorry if there are typos in this post. this is an incredibly bumpy drive .
