35559 I'm going to double check with the other captains just to make completely sure this will work. The clarifications really help!

35559 Great - thanks Alyana. That sounds like a good book. Especially since it really happened.

35559 Using THIS definition: Definition of suburb
1a: an outlying part of a city or town

35559 Alyana I'm so glad you said a little more for me. I think maybe we can use it. We can say instead of "set in small towns" for the reason, something like "set in the outlying districts of a town (the biggest city around)"
What do you think?

35559 Oh hmm..maybe it does fit - so they can ride to bigger cities? You've read the book, so maybe it WILL work.

35559 Here is a full definition:
Suburban areas are lower density areas that separate residential and commercial areas from one another. They are either part of a city or urban area, or exist as a separate residential community within commuting distance of a city

Does anyone have a finished or almost finished book that fits that?

35559 I don't think we can use The Giver of Stars for takes place in the suburbs, because suburbs are defined as an outlying district of a city, and a small town is not that. I'm looking now at alternatives.

35559 Thanks! I'm going to finish my Africa book fairly soon then can look at tasks unless someone beats me to that.

35559 Nice job Sana!

I finished Wee Free Men, which would finish off that monster. However, I think I'd prefer to save it for now, as it fits 4 prompts for Cyclops that are rather difficult including person & sheep on cover, character is a farmer, set on an island, etc. I think we'll get a high number in series fairly soon.

35559 Great! Yes that will fit a lot of tasks.

35559 Oh darn! Sorry I didn't look up defaults - just whatever was on my shelves, and I read all of those I think vs. listening.

Good luck! I suspect anything you find will be easier than Bleak House.

35559 I haven't done most of these in audio but:
The Passage (The Passage, #1) by Justin Cronin In the Eye of the Storm (Storm and Silence, #2) by Robert Thier Outlander (Outlander, #1) by Diana Gabaldon Gone with the Wind by Margaret Mitchell
are a few possibilities.

35559 I also put one in to cover ZEUS. As always, with either of those, feel free to replace them if someone finishes earlier.

35559 I found a book a few days ago that fits #2, 4, 5 of the Lion. I want to finish my current book tonight, but I can for sure read it tomorrow. Is that ok?

35559 Yes 4 prompts is a good thing to have banked!

I read a chapter of my adventure book last night. I will be gone this morning but will finish it this afternoon if nobody else finishes first. If they do, it has mountains on the cover (and probably other stuff too).

35559 Oh yeah! That book is (so far) the most difficult one I've read for this challenge.
