Ha - I'm glad we got some Cookie Monster goodness. I'm ok with even the thought of cookies.

I'll take a look at what I have/if there is anything we need.

I'm 99% sure we can put our own words in. I'm listening to a book called Breathless that might be good for a story prompt. I may hold off on finishing it until the change of minis (unless we end up needing it for a monster - it DOES have mountains on the cover.)

We got another Sphinx. We can't seem to score one of the new monsters :(

Anyway - Clockwork Boys does also fit #1,2,5 for Sphinx. But Red Pyramid fits 2,5, So I'm leaving Clockwork where it is for now, in case a riddle or mountain fit has the right page # range.

Oh wow great question. I was assuming we just use the titles in the story - but now I'm not 100% sure - that wording in the challenge could go either way! I'll see if that has been addressed in the captains Q&A and if not, I'll ask.

Yes, I'll have Clockwork Boys done tonight.

I'll be out of town starting Friday for about 5 days - I'll check in on the phone and will get things all reported when I get home. Luckily the new challenge isn't a monster chase so good timing I guess :)

I think we will have a ton of fun with this last mini! we've exceeded my wildest expectations with the monsters!

That's great. I keep hoping we'll get a new monster - I guess we have a few tries left.

We got Lamia again. 3 tasks are taken care of by Christina's book(s) - feel free to switch the chosen one if you want Christina.

We do have a book that fits #1, but I didn't put it in since we need a night sky on the cover book still and should see page # on that.

1.) Read a book between 200 and 299 pages (inclusive).
2.) Read a book with the night sky on the cover.

Good to see you Ashlee! I feel like The Master and Margarita was a hard read - definitely not a rut-breaker. It's ok you didn't finish it.

I'll have it done and get a new monster before bed - the book is a pretty quick read - it's not too deep :)

I put it in there - but if someone has a yellow cover you've read, etc. feel free to replace mine!

Sounds like a good plan. And if you'd rather use that for 'prison" instead of my 230 page book, I'm perfectly ok with not using my 230 page book for anything unless it's needed. I know we have a pretty high book count right now.

I'm almost done with my stone book.
The next one I'm reading (fairly short) has someone in prison at the first of the book. I wonder if we should use that one for the prison book, and put The Toll for the -between 500 and 650 pages prompt, since that is a harder (and more time consuming) one to fill? But whatever you all think.
