Lol I was typing when you wrote that. If you have access to the audio that is better because I have a couple of hours coming up where I can't listen to anything.

We do have some finished books that cover tasks #5 (a ton of them), and one that covers task #2 - but we'd then still need 1, 3 and still the rope, so I'd guess doing Rolling in the Deep is better? Or is there a better strategy?
 Well.....we got them again!
      Well.....we got them again!Sirens

The Sirens have been spotted on your shores endangering ships heading for the harbor. Easy enough to defeat if you know how, don't recommend calling them one hit wonders though.
To vanquish this monster you must:
1.) Read a book between 100 and 125 pages (inclusive).
2.) Read a book that takes place on a boat or ship.
3.) Read a book with a character who is deaf (any degree acceptable)
4.) Read a book with a rope on the cover.
5.) Read a book with "Mermaid" in the text.
Rolling in the Deep covers all of the tasks for Sirens except rope on the cover. BUT - the kindle version is listed as 79 pages, so if we use that one we'd have to either read the hardcover or the audiobook (since it uses the default page # which is that of the hardcover).

Yeah - so true! I'll switch to that one. I'm about an hourish away from finishing my Africa book, but that monster still has missing tasks, so killing the harpie would be better.

I have access to "Of Dragons,..." and could knock it off in a couple of hours. But I thought we were able to use some books to fill in like 3 of the tasks already? I'm not sure the best strategy here?

@Ashlee I put it in the spreadsheet but without a link since I'm not sure what edition you're reading. So just fill in the link and pages when you are able.

I'll read Blue Shoes and Happiness which is set in Africa. From the description it also has a snake in it, so if someone has/reads an Africa book first we can save mine for something.

At first I couldn't see it, but yes, I can see a lightning bolt coming from the cloud down to the "C". Good find Ashlee.
