35559 I thought the wheel gods hating was just a wheel-a-thon thing... Now, I'm not sure.

Okay, so Taken by Storm has a New Year's eve. But I wanted one that had more than one celebration. Otherwise, I had plenty of re-read material (which is what I am in the mood for.. )

35559 Dang. Lemme see what I can find.

When did wheels started? True has both Thanksgiving dinner and a winter wedding happening on New Year's Eve.

[EDIT]: I checked and we also have Christmas celebration.

35559 Btw, if anyone dares to complain about our defenestration connection, since the book also has the a questionable client short story, we also have a defenestration scene.

Sure, it is Kate imagining it, but the creature jumps her and shoves both against the 15th floor window. I just decided to leave my justification, because it is wacky and totally deserved.

35559 Since I'm a nice co-cap, already have all the info on the planning sheet. Didn't want to mess up all your strategy

Finished Omega's Destiny (The Blood Legacy Chronicles, #3) by Susi Hawke

You know... you can use it for all tasks if you want. Cover is mostly green, it has green in text, set 75% in Ireland, and there are several jealous fits all over the book.

35559 Mine can be used for Ireland. 55% in, only 10% outside and it has a few more chapters in at least. The end is in Belize, but it's the final 15% or so of the book.

35559 Okay, so, I'll start Omega's Destiny. Worse case scenario, not enough Ireland, and we'll have to use it as an O.

Really, how rude. That's one more reason Ty&Zane are so awesome. The irish descendant is called O'Flaherty, and there's even an Agent X on one of the books.

There's one set on a cruise. And another set in Scotland. And another set in the mountains.

35559 Okay. I think so. It's 115 pages, so no much effort on my part. And I think it's the most of action there, but I might be wrong.

I'll let you know in a couple of hours

35559 Uhmmm... I could re-read a quick Susi Hawke... my only issue is that they travel a bit. It is mostly set in Ireland. But they are other places, like the Isle of Man.

35559 I'd say they did a production release and it didn't work out as well.

Not having a decent QA department/process has its consequences. Just saying.

35559 Finished magic bites. I'm on my phone and Goodreads is acting up terribly.

35559 Btw, Cat vetoed my suggestion to use the special edition page count, because of it being the dramatized edition so things like "he said loudly", "she sighed" are removed.

Default edition page counts it is.

35559 Well... I might be biased, but I'm enjoying this one a lot. Plus Curran growls and purrs... is awesome

(He might be the reason I used my audible credits *giggles*)

Anyway, my only complain, but it might be my headset + phone combo is that the phone calls/messages are a bit lower in sound and I have to strain a bit to hear.

Oh, and Doolittle's southern accent is amazing. It also makes the speech harder to understand sometimes.

But Kate, Curran and Derek are my favs. I also had forgotten how nice Jennifer was to Kate at the beginning. And they give her such a nice voice too.

35559 LOL.

So I just realized that my audio version has a couple of extras, so, I'm pledging the captains to allow me to use the page count of the special edition (which I also own) instead of the default one.

35559 Too bad they need to be free choice, cause I have the last Alex Craft book to read, and if it doesn't have Death, I'll be *very* upset. But at 405 pages, it seems like a waste.

Plus, I'm still annoyed at the author and her choices at the HEA love interest. So, I'm not ready to read it anyway.

Yes, I am pouting.
