35559 Metallic Mood Paint. NOW, there's something we should invest on. Can you imagine all moody teenagers wanting them?

Maybe mood color clothes should be another thing.

35559 Urban fantasy, you say? And an Ilona Andrews fan... be still my heart.
Ahem... let's look at my list ( Steven would be so proud, since the first too are they favorite)

Jane Yellowrock series by Faith Hunter - Vampires first book is Skinwalker (Jane Yellowrock, #1) by Faith Hunter . I prefer her spinoff series, Blood of the Earth (Soulwood, #1) by Faith Hunter which you can read without major spoilers till book #4. Then it is advised to follow the timeline.

If you like fae, then October Daye is a must. First book is Rosemary and Rue (October Daye, #1) by Seanan McGuire . As a side note, anything Seanan Maguire writes is pure gold. My favorite from her is the Incryptid series, which she changes major POV every couple books or so, and it's ALL KINDS OF AWESOME. First book is Discount Armageddon (InCryptid, #1) by Seanan McGuire .

Then going to the shifter world, we have Patricia Briggs and her Mercy Thompson series, and the spin-off Alpha and Omega. First books are Moon Called (Mercy Thompson, #1) by Patricia Briggs and Cry Wolf (Alpha & Omega, #1) by Patricia Briggs

35559 Well, I always heard that the water reflected the sky, or is it the way around?

Which makes no sense, because we were known as the blue planet because of all the water.

HOWEVER, when the sky is dark and stormy, so is the water.

And it makes no seeeeeeeense.

I like the theory of the painter falling asleep. But why does it change color then? UHmmm?

35559 Also, don't get scared by Jenny's adventurous readings. She reads almost anything for a challenge and some titles are... well...challenging

*Giggles*

Also, from here in Brazil are you? I live near Lisbon, and thanks to remote work have a fair share of Brazilian co-workers

Also, I'm not playing this round, but it's my favorite challenge, so I'm mostly visiting and spread fun and mischief

You do know I have panic attacks when restrained, right?

Back when I got my first apartment, the living room door had a piece of metal out of place, which caused the door to get stuck when my mother forced it closed. With us three inside. And nobody else had the keys to the place.

I calmly told my mother, to let us have lunch, and think about it after eating. Which she ignored, because it was how she was wired. She managed not only not to open the door, but also making me realize I was stuck inside. Eni had to force me half out of the window to catch some hair, because I was looking around to something to smash the glass on the door.

Since my dear mother still didn't let go of the darn door - clearly she hadn't though that her youngest daughters being on a third floor window when she's terrified of heights could only mean that the oldest was loosing it.

Anywoo. Long story short, I was so upset that I attacked the door with really intent and managed to open it. And then got a hammer and flattened the offending piece of metal. And then called it a day, because the adrenaline crash was really bad. REALLY BAD.

Meh, not really. Most of them were caused by performance issues. But it was fun. I got to support the dev team. Poor babies.

35559 Good Morning team!!!

Just wanted to say hi, and quick vanishing, because this week is ridiculous.

So yesterday we had what they call a testing day - basically, everybody in the project that is not a QA, will be having a session where we teach how to do exploratory testing, and then set free on the app, with the QA's as a support.

Now, we're dealing with the outcome, aka, classify and categorize the ridiculous amount of issues/feedback they created.

Add that to a high profile effort estimation that just landed on my lap, and the need to proper testing the issues fixings the dev team is doing, and yeah, the week seem promising.

Oh, did I mention that tomorrow is a portuguese holiday? That means one more day to rest, which I really will need, but also one less day to work, which I really, really don't need. LOL

That's me. Contradiction is my middle name!

Happy hyyyaaaaaahhhhs to all!!!

35559 I don't know... I have a trauma with them.

So, my mom - bless her soul - was born with straight hair. Think 70s long straight hair without needing a straightener. So, of course she was a big fan of perms and mullets. We always want what we didn't get. And then, she has a daughter that actually has some curs. Long story short, the day of my sister's first communion, I was having hair troubles and ask her, can you cut my bangs? She did cut my bangs... and all the rest of the crown of my hair, because I had curls, and what better way to enhance them than to have a mullet, right?

Problem is... we're not in the 80s anymore, we're in 1993!!! Do you know how bad it was, going to school the next monday?! AT 17 ALMOST 18!!!!!

Hey team Jazz, just wanted to say Hi. Sadly, I'm not doing wheels this round, I guess it's the first edition I'm missing, but lot on my plate this last quarter, so, *very* hard choices had to be made. So, I'm living vicariously through all of you, which means, I'll be popping around from time to time.
