Eni "made" me replace my phone last summer because mine was acting up, plus, with the use I gave it, it justified for me to have a more fancier one. I basically doubled the budget I usually have for phones... which wasn't that high, but higher than we tend to go for.

Anyway. Since then, I basically stopped used my kindle. Phone has all book apps I need - kindle, audible, play books, and a second audio book player just in case. And access to everything else.

I still take a paperback with me, just in case the apocalypse happens and we get of grid/run out battery/electricity/whatever.

I'm too much of a mood reader to make paperbacks a thing. Plus we're running out of space for physical books. Which I refuse to get part of. That is a battle for another time. I already struggle enough not to stray from digital.

Around the pool? Yeah, I can see why.

My kindle is facing a dark future. It had the audacity of consuming half its battery with a under 300 pages book. I'm not in the mood to have to charge it every two days. Heck I do that with my phone IF I spend the whole day playing with it. So yeah. Kindle baby is getting outdated.

First thing we did after the challenge ended was

1)Turn the PS5 on
2)Subscribe to PS + premium - curious enough, the discount offer ended August 1st. I bet they new we needed a you can play without guilt moment.

Good Morning. I managed to finish Forever Midnight before bed yesterday, it only needs to be added to main ss. Doing that at the moment.

Considering work also picked up during June, I have no idea how I managed it.

I'm currently reading and it will probably be the last challenge reading unless we need some specific letter for a spell-it-out.

My plan was to finish Brandon and maybe read a chapter two of Ollie. Nope. I read the entire book. It today wasn't Saturday, I'd be in big trouble.

OMIGOSH, Ollie's book has been published earlier - it was supposed to be out August 1st.

I am soooooo freaking excited.

OK. I'll read Brandon, then I'll have to pause for Ollie, aka With Kid Gloves, because it's Ollie's book. He stole my heart at six years old, and now is all grown up and finding love.... *squeals like a teenager at a Bieber Concert* and then last christmas book, if nobody beats me to it :D

Onto to snuggle with Brandon's Very Merry Haunted Christmas and then whatever meets my fancy.

I finished the new year's book.

Okay... so... change of plans, because I need some chef storm in my life right now.

So. I'm picking up Taken by Storm that has a New Year's party. And then Brandon's Very Merry Haunted Christmas (which is tiny at 110 pages).

And then, if needed be, I'll pick up something else. Christmas short books are quite common. So. yes.

Cool.

Now... I could read the christmas sprites books. All of them are about christmas holidays.

Sure, they are 4. But they're also all around 110 pages, so quick reads.
