Apart from the metallic mood changing color paint, she's been awfully quiet.

I have NO idea what you mean *smiles innocently*"
You also seem to forget how innocent I know you can be :P

I think we should propose a build your own cover service to Kindle.
Like, cover designers would do their thing... BUT, they should have a reserved space to change your item - for example, to add a barbequed lobster, or a piano, or maybe a wheel. And both cover colours and lettering could be changed in a specific range of colours. We could even add premium fares for harder items or metallic colours like gold and silver.

You are lucky I'm no longer a killer chipbunny, otherwise, Mischief and Mayhem would occur.
BUUUUUUUUT, one of the original three killer chipbunnies is on your team.... *whistles*

That is for sure. Ilona Andrews is my absolute favorite, and I usually have to change genres every time I finish one of their books, otherwise I'll be stuck in the life has no meaning out of this book state.
I have mixed feelings about the Fever series, but that's on me, because I have a problem with authors making their characters suffer without me seeing a purpose. That's why I always struggle with Dresden Files, the series is great, even if he's a little too misogynist for my taste, however, the poor guy doesn't have a break. And that gets old after 7 or 10 books.
Anyway, about Jane. The books really improve, specially when she starts having people, instead of being a lonely vampire hunter. And I adoooooore BEAST.

Well, I'm not a specialist. I was involved in a goodreads group some years on the road, that focused on genres by series, and we had some interesting topics and subgenres. It has since then faded away, but I got some tricks and tips to sprout at random times. LOL.

If book #6 is the one I think, it isn't an easy book to read.
*goes check*
Yep, that's the one. Good luck.
You know, the series gets *really* good after that one. Really, really good.
But, that was also the book that had Ilona say to Gordon in an interview "I will never forgive you" for something that happens on that book. So, yeah, there is that.
Also, I remember it took me TWO DAYS to read it when it first came out. Two loooong days of screaming, kicking, and pleading and whatnot. A lot of cursing also was involved during the reading.

They had some ideas for an Arabella trilogy. But they had to postpone it to keep their sanity in check. Which I totally understand.
Plus they kinda bribed me with more Kate & Curran, so, what can I say.
I'm really curious about their new work in process. They keep saying it's and odd book, that doesn't fit the usual molds so... WANNNNNTING ITTTTTTT... it's still being written. Meh.

I am jealous right now :P

I got Mrs Phelps from Roald Dahl's Matilda :)
Got the same result - I wonder if it was the pair of glasses I picked :-p"
I got the same. I think the quizz only has one result :P

Now, some purists may be foaming at the mouth right now, to appease them, let's call Guild Hunters and Psy-Changeling PNR, aka Paranormal Romance.
To make it simpler, in my head I worked it out like this: It's a series, with always the same MC, and it has little to no romance, or, some love interests along the series - Urban Fantasy (Or Paranormal). Each book is a different couple, has a HEA, and it has a plot, but it focus more on the love interest - Paranormal Romance.

*gasps* Nooooooo, you need to get to them!!!
