Yeah, I don't want to know... specially after deciding on taking a BIG break on challenges... Better not to be tempted, because I'm weak like that.

35559 At least they were wise enough to allow me access to Wheel of Time and Rings of Power... I think they would have an uproar in their hands if they didn't.

35559 Adding to rights and common decency... I also required access to Leverage on amazon prime... because it is not available for me.

35559 Finished the korean book. It wasn't bad, and I liked the style, but the cultural shock made a under 200 pages feel like a 800.

It is done. Onto updating ss.

I'd say more than usual. I'm staring to count the days, and that is never a good sign.

I just realised I've read 23 books in the past 10 days. A lot of them short ones to cover tasks, but still, that's ridiculous, lol!"

I signed up for 8 a month, that means 24 in the whole challenge. I read 58 so far. So yeah, ridiculous

LOL

Well, I found one that was only missing 2 Ks a C and a P.

Maybe not all is lost. We shall see. Maybe I find one that combined with Priest does the trick. I shall keep searching. Because those are quick reads :D

35559 I was talking about the 3 people on the cover task. But I guess that works too. I'm Currently reading Priest from the same author, that's another 2 E's. And we can also use Robbie for the B.

Uhmmm, That's three books... Lemme check some of the big titles I have on my list.

137. X-Rated - Read a book with three people on the cover

just 3 more tasks to uncover! :D"

Not to over claim and everything, but once I finish Priest, the next book on the series is this one:

The Princess, the Prick & the Priest (Confessions, #4) by Ella Frank

So, if nobody beats me to it, I can tackle it too :D

35559 So, I know I'm reusing books but, Ramsey hasn't been used for chipmunks and it's 308 pages, plus a mpreg novel, so it has a baby. Actually, more than one. Since the next door couple also have one and visit a lot.

35559 I really really wish I would know how the goodreads recs algorithm works.

It would help setting my expectations at bay.

I can speculate what it makes sense, but I rather know for sure.

35559 Okay, he used to work in a bakery, and wants to open a new one and bakes a lot in the book.

Actually, it can do all 4 in 1. The book is Benjamin. I read it earlier this week.

Lemme know it you need deets. You can add the book to the wheel and I'll fish the details after lunch. Have a 12 PM meeting now.

35559 Sammy wrote: "We just need a baker for chocolate cupcakes, unless someone has a 4-in-1 :)"

Does someone that wants to open a bakery counts as a baker?
Lemme check if Eli is that person, because reading all books in a series back to back has its disadvantages sometimes.

35559 Yeah.. maybe we could nudge the mods to have a tier for middle grade readers that keep hearing about NBRC challenges and want to participate, so things like Diary of a Wimpy Kid could be used (when read by said readers)

35559 Eni is reading the illuminae files. She's on book #2, I think, but hasn't updated her books. I'll give her a nudge

It is. But not with that book since it's in the 400 pages range.

I'm going to go with the Magic Bites graphic audio adaptation, and the justification will be

"According to Sonia, aka The Defenestrator, not reading Kate Daniels should be a cause for defenestration. Plus it's her favorite series, and in a full cast audio."

I'm pretty sure Kate throws something/someone through a window eventually.
