Let me know what you thought of the book you mentioned. That one looks like classic Hannah. I think she is tackling slightly heavier topics now.
Starting in 3 weeks or so is fine!

This is a first time read for me. Really enjoying so far. Charles and Anna are still figuring out their relationship. But I am enjoying their playfulness! Interesting storyline with fae and vampires! I only wish Bran was in the book more. I guess I will have to wait...

Interesting you ask that. I saw on the news yesterday that Elon Musk tried to send his car to Mars. Eventually he is hoping we can colonize Mars and the moon. So it may be a reality one day! I would probably only want to visit. Earth is my home!
13. Weir loves to add in nerdy scientific detail. Some people love it, and others... well not so much. What are your thoughts?
I think I actually understood most of it. Just don’t quiz me! LOL
14. Some people have criticized this book, saying he wrote it more with a film adaptation in mind, rather than as a novel. Did you feel that way?
Yes. In my review I said it was a high octane Sci-Fi thriller. It probably would be perfect for the big screen.
15. Did you like the ending? Was it a "page turner" for you?
The ending was exciting. But I did feel like I wanted more. The administrator taking away Jazz’s money to keep her “hungry” and motivated to do her job was just really mean. I know this isn’t supposed to be a series. But wonder if the story has truly ended...
16. Would you recommend this book to others? Why/why not?
Yes, I would recommend it! For all my minor complaints, I did enjoy it!

I guess that means you don't have that!
Mine is paperback.
This one [book..."
I haven’t seen that edition. It’s different in the U.S.. Plus, I have the Kindle edition. The problem must be just in that edition.

This is a really good novella that I didn’t know existed! I know about having a book list a mile long! The shows on my DVR are just piling up. As I try to keep up with challenges and books I just HAVE to read. LOL

I read this on kindle the first time. Borrowed the audio this time. I agree the narrator is great! Makes it even better!

That is odd. Are you reading an ebook or physical copy? Interested to see if others have the same issue.

I put book 1, Moon Called, in my wishlist at the library. I’ll read it after I get caught up with Alpha & Omega!
Not sure anyone else is reading the book now or not. But I read another 5 chapters. Will be starting chapter 11 tomorrow. Anna and Charles make a good couple. But I still shake my head (view spoiler) I did like how Anna was trying to help Charles deal with his issues. (view spoiler) Chapter 9 and 10 were exciting. The mystery (view spoiler) I’m glad I am getting caught up on this series! I forgot how good it is.

Yes, the messages are in more of a bold type. I just thought it was to distinguish these messages from the rest of the book. Not sure if it means more.
8. For those that have read The Martian, is Jazz reminding you of Mark Watney? I feel like Weir has written the same character personality. I understand there is a different gender, ethnicity and job, but the actual core character seems very similar!
I saw the movie, The Martian, but did not read the book. I am listening to the audio so I knew from the beginning Jazz was female. They probably do share similar personality traits, though, like humor, sarcasm, stubbornness, and a bit of a badass.
9. Artemis only has 2000 residents. How did Jazz think she would go unnoticed? would you have taken on the challenge for a million slugs?
A million slugs would be tempting! :) And for Jazz, it would have taken her a long time to earn that amount. Maybe never.
But, yes, in a community with so few people, it would be hard to hide! But then again, Jazz’s recklessness does make for a more exciting book!
10. Oh. Interesting twist with the Administrator. Did you see it coming?
No. But I am not surprised. Those in charge usually do have their own agendas. And don’t mind putting others in jeopardy for their own gain.
11. Thoughts or hopes for how this will all end?
I won’t speculate too much. But I am rooting for Jazz and Trond’s daughter. I hope they win the war with Sanchez Aluminum.

Interesting! I agree Jazz and Kelvin are so different in some ways. Yet they have corresponded for a long time. And have become good friends.

Great! Will you be reading the first 5 books in February? I have read 2 books previously. But will reread them since it was so long ago. Didn’t know there was a novella to read before book 1. It does help to start with this novella!
