Love the cat stories, Morgan and Donna! They do choose us and not the other way around.

Question. Do we have to complete spells one at a time? I have books to read with U, V, and O coming up. Should I wait or can I read them now and they can be used later for other spells?

It sounds like you are listening to CDs. I listen on my phone or iPad on an app. I usually listen at 1.5 speed because most of the time the narration is slow. Sometimes at 2 times speed.

Hi Rebecca, I won’t call you a crazy cat lady. I have 2 cats. Both are high maintenance but we keep them around because their cat antics make us laugh.

You must have been in baseball heaven yesterday when the Cubs won the cross town classic. I live near Chicago, so I know about Cubs fever. :)

Ouch! Do you listen to audio? I do. I usually fall asleep to them. Then have to rewind to the last chapter I remember. LOL Not as dangerous as a kindle.:)

Do we just pick our own spell or curse to work on ourselves? Will we have a tracker post to keep track of the letters we complete and books we read?

I borrowed the book from the library, but never got to read it before it had to be returned. I hate when that happens! LOL I will see if I can reborrow in time for the buddy read. Put me down as a tentative yes!

Hi Donna, impressive yearly total! I agree challenges help. I started a historical romance series challenge in January and it has pumped up my numbers. I will probably read 250 this year. The only thing that keeps me from reading more is my tv and movie watching. Not enough hours in the day! :)

Hi Team! Checking in. Sorry Morgan, did not know the thread was open.

This is my first time in a challenge so I will probably have a lot of questions. Apologies, Morgan! But I have been part of NBRC for a few years. Mostly I focus on BOM, writing DQs, and buddy reading. I’ve got a few buddy reads lined up already and did volunteer to write DQs for our team for Lilac Girls. But they will probably have to use the randomizer to choose who writes them. Plenty of volunteers.

Just a few things about me: I live in Northwest Indiana, near Chicago. I love reading any type of fiction and average over 200 books a year. I love movies, tv, cooking, traveling. I live with my wonderful husband of 20 years and 2 very spoiled cats.
