Hi All...Team Ginny Weasley. I’d like to join too. Curious about the book. The book isn’t as in demand at my library, so I’ll wait until closer to the date. I’ll try to monitor the thread in case you all can read the book sooner.

BTW, did you get the goodreads newsletter last month with the moms in danger book list? I think I added pretty much all of them to my long tbr list. I was not happy with goodreads! LOL I ask because that is where I found out about The Good Liar and The Perfect Mother.

I thought the book had too much dialogue. I feel like when a book relies too much on dialogue, the characters don’t feel fully developed for me. I like more detail and backstory. Just my preference, I guess.

Once Brooke lets us know when she can buddy read The Good Liar, I’ll request a thread!

Glad you enjoyed it. The book was crazily addictive, even though I had some issues with the writing. I don’t know why, but I was still hooked! With all the questions remaining, I wonder if the author will write a sequel. I agree, Laura, so much was over the top (view spoiler)[ for me Micah having babies with 2 other lesbian women and not telling his wife was a bit crazy. (hide spoiler)]

When would everyone want to buddy read The Good Liar ? I can do it late May or early June.

I have already read the book. It was good with a surprise ending. Like Vicki said, don’t read spoilers!

I finished the book. What a crazy, wild ride is all I can say! LOL I had some issues with the writing. But this is her debut novel. Maybe she will improve later. Looking forward to seeing what everyone else thought of the ending!

Your enthusiasm for tower teams is contagious. :) I have been around for a few years but never considered team challenges. Thanks for explaining it. Glad buddy reading, BOM and DQs are part of it. I will do that anyway, challenge or no challenge.

I’ve read up to chapter 45. After getting used to the writing, it’s hard to put down.

Bowling sounds like fun! You have me intrigued by the tower team challenge. If I can read what I want, I may give it a try.

Well, I’m halfway through. Trying to finish by Friday. Without saying too much, my head is spinning! LOL Just be prepared, Laura and Brooke, when you do start!
