I really do like wheelathon because it’s a great time to mix things up. Read longer books or reread favorites. And almost any book can fit for a word. I got a few books from the library yesterday and they both fit!

You are going to finish before me. Glad you are enjoying it. I agree January Lavoy is great as narrator. One reason I bought the audiobook.

I am through chapter 10. There’s definitely a lot of crazy family drama!
(view spoiler)[ It’s terrible that Cate’s own mother could have a hand in her daughter’s abduction. A mother like that must have some sort of personality disorder like narcissism. But I did find Cate a scrappy little thing. Being able to escape and figure out her mother was involved. (hide spoiler)] I am finding it interesting. Cate getting back into acting will be fun to follow. No romance yet. But I’m sure there will be one. And just an inkling of menace. I haven’t really read the description so I won’t know what will happen.
What do you thnk?

Ive had this book in my TBR for a while, so now is a good time to start it lol"That book does deserve the creepy tag. It does have a butterfly on the cover too, so it could work for insect on cover. I think I have almost memorized that darn task list! LOL
Laura wrote: "Geri, I don’t see any penalties in the rules."Thanks Laura and Alysa. I’m not likely to go way over my limit. One reason I am planning to tackle longer books. Yikes! I definitely don’t want a chastising from a Mod! 😁

So, based on everyone’s bpm/2, I think we can spell our phrase at least 6 times, and most of a 7th!
That’s 6-7 Is, Es, Zs, Rs, Ps, Hs
18-21 Ts, Os"Thanks for doing that! I will keep an eye out for Os. I usually find a book works for more letters once I start reading. T shouldn’t be too hard since a lot of books begin with “The”. We can use it instead of ignore.
One question. If I read one or two more books than I committed to, we won’t be penalized, right? I think for last towers we had to stay close to our average number. Just want to check. Because I will likely be able to help complete a word if needed. And it might be more like 7 or 8 books per fortnight.

The spreadsheet looks good, Michelle! Thank you! I will check the spreadsheet a few days before each round ends to see what we may need to complete a word. I can usually sneak in a book or two if needed.

No problem. I’ll start tonight too!

Yeah, I’ve been in a reverse harem and cozy mystery phase lately. Not sure why those two genres. But I am having fun reading them. 😃 I will be looking through all the recs.

Karen, I will start reading the book tomorrow. I have read my last book for Amazing Race. Will you be ready to read too?

I always love finding out where everyone lives. Goodreads brings together people from all over the world. 😀
I have been doing more planning with tasks. With 200 of them, I won’t run out. All my books should have tasks. Most of my books fit more than one. So I will use the harder tasks first.
A book I am excited to finally read is
. I bought it a few months ago, but haven’t had time to read it yet. It fits our first word/phrase in a couple of ways. Hopefully, once I start reading, it will work for even more letters.
Any books you are excited to read?

Michelle - For my previous wheels challenge, we did use a planning spreadsheet. I am comfortable filling it in. It does help to keep track of what letter still needs to be done. But I know in the end there’s a lot of shuffling that needs to be done to create the most words. One thing I can’t do is create links for the books in the spreadsheet. It’s because I use an iPad and not a desktop computer. Other than that, I am fine with using a spreadsheet!

Oh,
One for the Blackbird, One for the Crow looks good! It works for O in both title and author. :) And western or historical fiction. That is how I see books now, by letters, character names, tasks it will fulfill. I’m getting into Wheels mode!😀

I do have a book for Z and one that will work for O. I will try to read those the first two weeks.

Hi All! I’m checking in. I live near Chicago. So it’s been a bit crazy here with covid and protests. But I am so happy to play Wheels again for the third time! It is one of my favorite challenges. I live with my husband and 2 cat babies. My husband and I love road trips too. Even during social distancing, we will go on drives when it starts to feel claustrophobic at home. So the theme for this round of wheels is perfect!😁 I read pretty much any fiction. I plan to read 1 or 2 big books a week. Books I haven’t been able to read in other challenges because I usually need to finish quickly. I am already planning a few books and assigning them tasks. This will be fun!
