Laura wrote: "Team! We have our next Round info! It's still only in the Official Spreadsheet, but as soon as she gets a chance Michelle will copy it over to the planning spreadsheet for us!

Laura wrote: "MOG means it’s one of the genres on the book’s main page, before you click on “see top shelves”."Ugh! OK. I’ll change it. Thanks Laura and Alysa!

OK. I thought the MPG just had to be on page 1. If there is a minimum number, let me know, Laura!
Laura wrote: "Hey team! Just a little update. We are currently claiming spots in our 6th spell-out, so let's try to fill that one before we start putting anything into the next one. Most of our spell-outs just n..."I have claimed my last letter for this round. Of course, I went over my estimated number. Somehow I ALWAYS do! 😁 It’s hard to accurately estimate. Hopefully, it will help us where a teammate got busy and couldn’t read all their books.
Laura wrote: "Geri, your book Shadow Falling doesn't appear to have MPG Zombies currently. Is there another task you can use it for?"I do see zombies on page 1, column 2, 4th option from the bottom. Tagged by 4 people.
[[ Frankie ]] wrote: "Speaking of the Guild Hunter series... anyone wanna give me some awesome paranormal/urban fantasy book/series recommendations?"Have you read Georgina Kincaid series? Book 1
Succubus Blues by
Richelle Mead. I reread this series every few years. Great characters and romance.
Alysa wrote: "my GR TBR is like a giant dump of every book that has ever sounded interesting. So out of control, lol."I know the feeling! I try to get rid of some dead weight periodically from my tbr.
And yeah, I am gonna try to hold on to genre and series tasks as much as possible too. I will be reading some books that were recommended by other teams as well as from our team recs.
[[ Frankie ]] wrote: "As far as my personal opinion on the book... I mean, it wasn’t the greatest or most entertaining read, & it DEFINITELY was not worth $12.99 for the ebook, but I ended up giving it 3 stars"Yeah, that’s what I thought. A middle of the road read. Too bad you couldn’t get that free from the library or KU.
Laura wrote: "Thanks, Frankie! There have been so many people in my house that we’re ignoring our anniversary until Tuesday when my favorite little restaurant is open. :)

I recently went to dine in at a restaurant for my birthday. It was strange after not doing that for months. It was nice to eat food hot and have it served to me!
Laura wrote: ". Yesterday my 2nd daughter turned 18. Today my oldest gets married. Tomorrow is my 23rd wedding anniversary. So I know crazy!! My reading time is greatly reduced this weekend. And my audio time is almost non-existent"Wow! What a wonderful weekend! Enjoy yourself!
[[ Frankie ]] wrote: "My sister left for Florida last Friday & I’ve had the kids all week, so I haven’t had as much Goodreads/reading time. I had promised the kids I would hang out with them & not be on my iPad 24/7 while they’re here. LOL. My sis will be back tomorrow (Saturday), so my reading will go back to normal then. :p."Oh fun, getting to take care of your sister’s kids!
I thought about reading the BOM. It was a Reese’s book club selection. But there are a lot of mixed reviews. I kept putting it on my tbr, then taking it off. I finally decided not to read it. If you read it, let us know what you think!
The Conductors does look interesting!

Oh God, I think I remember that. Were you on the team that got crazy words, like ones with 2 Qs and such? LOL Liqqor or Liquorice or something?

Yes, we usually get a day or two to plan for the next word. I am liking having each round being 2 weeks. It’s a little more laid back for me. I think last time we got a new word every week.
I finished my fourth for the week. I didn’t expect it but I found a Z. 😁 I love when that happens! I will add to the spreadsheet later. My longest book will be done this weekend. I am reading it a little at a time between other books. Like I said before, it’s a little more laid back for me with each round lasting two weeks.
[[ Frankie ]] wrote: ". Ya never know when we may need a clock while we’re squeezing in those last minute completions.😂"Definitely!

I found another O name in a book. The crazy thing is that in both books the character’s “real” name is the same, Orion. What are the odds? Pretty good, I guess!
