Might do that again later as it's a fun challenge."Most of the time that is how I choose a book. Much easier than choosing something from my long list of “to read”. Unless the library gifts me with a bunch of books at once. Which does happen. 😁

I finished my second book. I am updating the spreadsheet.

I found an O name in a book I started. So I shuffled it to fit an O in the spreadsheet. I am thinking O might be our difficult letter this round. Even more than Z. I know most of us prepare for letters like Q, X, Z. We will probably have enough. 🤞

And now I will start a book! It was 3 hours between finishing my last before Wheel started. It was rough! :)

Do you like Lucy Kincaid series? My library has them all. I may start there.

Thanks! She has written a lot of books. I didn’t know where to start!

Okay, I’m done. It was an entertaining read. It wasn’t what I expected. But the ending did surprise me. I wish Cate had pursued acting. I have a soft spot for books on film sets, making a movie etc.. The romance was light. But I suppose this was meant to be a light summer read. I agree it definitely wasn’t romantic suspense. Too much telling and not enough getting to know the characters. I do need to find a romantic suspense since that is what I am in the mood for!
Just a few hours before Wheel starts! Are you ready?

Easy Charm and one I have been wanting to read for a while
House of Earth and Blood.
So ready!

Well, I made it through chapter 20 today. I am a little disappointed. I was hoping for more thrill and suspense. The writing is keeping the story too surface-y. I’d like to follow Cate’s mother and Cate’s abductor in prison more. I am assuming things will happen with them. As far as Cate’s old boyfriend,
(view spoiler)[ Do you think Noah was beaten up by men that Sparks in prison sent? I am thinking so. (hide spoiler)] You may have already finished. If so, no need to answer. And Cate’s mother. What a terrible person! 😁
What do you think of the romance? I will finish tomorrow!

Do we need to post our wheel shelf link? I have had to do that in the past.

I hadn’t checked the countdown clock. I was thinking I would start Saturday. But actually I can start tomorrow 4 pm my time.😀
