I'll be doing both as well. Bad luck I didn't get picked for DQ's for Salt and Broom despite having another entry.
Great going Laurie having your book picked! Guaranteed DQ's= big points. 😁

I agree. Hoping when the mini is revealed the strategy most advantageous will become more obvious.

I've started.. wish I would have known the author would have included a handy recap at the beginning.. I'll be reading in parts and reading quicker books inbetween.
Just an observation.. hate to be a downer but who thinks.. (view spoiler)

Keri, yes you have to have started your book after the challenge started - 15th May, and what ever time in your zone that matches 9 am UTC.
Whatever book you're reading has to have one of these in it - Defense, Food, Shelter or Weapons - as long as you can justify it, it fits!

MPG TIME TRAVEL The Book That Wouldn’t Burn
by Mark LawrenceGoodreads Choice AwardNominee for Best Fantasy (2023)
A boy has lived his whole life trapped within a vast library, older than empires and larger than cities.
A girl has spent hers in a tiny settlement out on the Dust where nightmares stalk and no one goes.
The world has never even noticed them. That's about to change.
Their stories spiral around each other, across worlds and time. This is a tale of truth and lies and hearts, and the blurring of one into another. A journey on which knowledge erodes certainty, and on which, though the pen may be mightier than the sword, blood will be spilled and cities burned.
