One of the other captains suggested James Patterson books would almost always work. Not my type of read, but if someone likes him, then go for it!

The Monster mini challenge starts Wednesday! Any books finished on or after June 15th are eligible, and can be banked if they aren't used for a current monster. So we're going to be adding a few columns to the spreadsheet. Please fill in the following information on your books!

The Monster Mini tab works just like May mini tab did. Just put the # of the task in the Mini code column and your book info will be copied over to the sheet.

There are longer lists, as well. I was always taught that a preposition is anything a cloud can do to an airplane. I used a little toy and a toilet paper tube to teach my kids. In, On, Into, Beside, Above, Below, etc.

New Maze Task!

Task: Read a book that has been on your "to read" shelf for more than 1 year

And, we need to go back a couple of spaces, so East - Even Number of Pages

Michelle & Lisa will be working on a planning sheet for us! That will be coming by the end of the weekend, I believe.

New mini challenge runs June 15 - July 15. We get to kill monsters!

- We will have 5 monsters at a time. When we defeat one, we get a new one.

- Each monster is defeated with between 1 and 5 books. A book may be used for as many tasks as it fits for one monster.

- Monster assignments are random, so we may face the same monster more than once.

- Books started at any time during this challenge, and finished after the start of the mini (June 15) may be used.

- Books can only be used in 1 mini challenge. So right now, books may be used for the maze OR the monsters. When the maze ends, if there is another mini started, the same rule will apply.

- 'Banking books' is allowed. As long as books meet general TT requirements, not used for the maze, and are finished after the start of this mini challenge, they can be used for any monster.
Example: Judith finishes a book on June 18 that was not used for the maze. A new monster is assigned to Team Pandora on June 20. Judith's book from June 18th is used to complete a task for the new monster.

- Points: 5 points per task, additional 15 points for vanquishing the monster.

I have so many different options for this one! But I have a book I need to finish today first, so hopefully some one picks something up before then, because I'm paralyzed with choices!

One of our AMMP mods said Goodreads wouldn't let her post more than 20 pictures the other day when she was posting a challenge! The limitations are getting ridiculous to work around as mods!

Rose, the audio books are soooo well done!

There are several Vorkosigan books on the list. Too bad I just re-read everything during Uno, when I discovered that a bunch of them were included with my Audible subscription. :(
