Task: Read a book shelved (listed on the first page on GR)* as started - plurals and spelling acceptable

We have a choice!

South - Title starts with N-Z
East - Even Number of Pages

There is nothing to indicate which direction we should go, so whatever we find, book-wise, can dictate our choice.


*This does NOT mean the Main Page. It means the first page of tags.

Same. The competition drives me, but this is certainly more relaxing, while still being fun.

The other teams are competing within their supergroups (3teams grouped together) and there are points for 1, 2, 3. Ours is just for fun (and 5 extra points per book). So we can take the time to get longer, higher point books. I think most of what I’ve seen from them is under 200 pages. And each of those counts toward their max # of books. So we could make out better by not competing!

I keep hoping we’ll get a task that fits a book I have less than an hour left in. But no such luck. Every task so far hasn’t fit my current reads.

You could start it just in case, but I think Amanda may be about an hour away from finishing one.

Mine is 350. But like I said, it won’t be done until late today. If you can do one sooner, then we can move on faster.

I doubt it. The task specifically says Goodreads Choice, and the link was part of the task.

I have a few options, but I have to finish a few first, so if anyone has anything quicker, go for it!

You are over complicating it! If the word comes up in a text search then yay, the book works for the task.


So all of those mentioned earlier would have worked, and we know for any future "in text" tasks!

My kids have youth group tonight, so I'll be out for a while. So I'll leave this task for someone else. But I actually have 7 books that fit just sitting on my "up next" shelf! :)

I’ll post mine in about 30 minutes. And I’m going to ask all these questions in the captain’s group, so we have a better idea of what is or isn’t acceptable.

I think that’s referring to the color of the dress? You would think this would be more cut & dried, right?
