Brown, yes. Mountain, I don’t think so.

I haven’t even started the mountain book I put down, so go ahead and replace it.

My 800 page book and my #8 in series should be done tomorrow.

Manticore



The man-eating Manticore has been terrorizing your people. Very hard to kill with 3 rows of sharp teeth that completely devour their victims. Not even the bones left to bury. If you find them, it's best to turn them into a nice 'Persian" rug before they decide to eat you first.

To vanquish this monster you must:
1.) Read a book between 500 and 650 pages (inclusive).
2.) Read a book set in Persia (Iran, Egypt, Turkey, Afghanistan and Pakistan).
3.) Read a book with the letters MAN EATER in title (any order).
4.) Read a book with MPG Paranormal > Shapeshifters.
5.) Read a book with a 3 in the publication date.

Michelle has a horror and a nonfiction. I wasn’t sure if she would finish, being out of town, but she says she’ll be done!

Warships update

We need one more non-fiction and one more Horror. Remember, it doesn't have to be MPG, just on the first page of tags.

If we don't get these, we'll be throwing more Romances at that spot. We currently have one each for non-fiction and for horror.

Okay, so we need a #6 in series, and features a bird. Lake Silence, anyone? I re-read it in March, so I can't do it now.

Our new monster is another Stymphalian Bird! Lets see what we can do from the bank!

Perfect! I was just investigating if Rose's book The Angel of the Crows featured birds, but apparently it's a Sherlock fanfic (wingfic is a thing?) about an Angel named Crow. :)

@Amanda - does This Same Place have a bird in it? The word comes up a lot in a word search of the book, and it looked like it might work?

Stymphalian Birds



Stymphalian Birds have been seen filling your orchards and causing delays in harvesting. They are hard to defeat because of their numbers. Music can soothe the savage beasts, may want to try metal bands.

To vanquish this monster you must:
1.) Read a book between 350 and 450 pages (inclusive).
2.) Read a book that is #6 in a series.
3.) Read a book with a musical instrument mentioned in the text.
4.) Read a book with something metal on the cover.
5.) Read a book that features a bird (bird shifter accepted).

Amanda's Hard Job has spear, so I'll get us another new monster now!
