I found "defenestrated" in The Spellshop, so if nothing else turns up, I can reread it.

Other captains already asked about this, but it was a no, unfortunately.

35559 Alysa, U have interpreted right the first time, no panic. :)

35559 @Rebecca,

could you please give a quote with page/loc where the character eats chips?

Thank you.

35559 And towards the end of Thief of Time an M-character gets renamed to a U-character ... typical and welcome Pratchett shenanigan! :)

That works, if you (or anyone) reads Steelheart. Move my book to whatever ladder rung works best :)."

Awesome, thanks. ;)

35559 This also means that I am done with the challenge for this year. ๐Ÿ˜Š

I upped the number twice already, but I leave it as it is now and rest on my laurels. ๐Ÿ˜‰

If I get to read some more books, they'll be extras.

35559 #49 Cocktail Time by P.G. Wodehouse by P.G. Wodehouse, 4 stars

combined with the delighful narration by Jonathan Cecil, it made me LOL a lot, but the story wasn't as good as books 1 & 2.

#50 Unfit to Print by K.J. Charles , 2 stars

the first KJ Charles book that left me cold. The historical background was interesting, but it th estory was too short and the couple didn't have time to grow on me, mostly I disliked them.

35559 Talking about Us (&I s), I think we may need a few more of those.

Rebecca, I have switched your G-book to I, as it is really needed. ๐Ÿ™‚

As it is a a former BOM, I'm giving some thoughts to adding it to Ladder 2 somehow.

If we put it to Rung 2, following mine, then maybe adding Steelheart (not Claire's as that has a snug place in ladder1), then Alysa's book could follow. ๐Ÿค”

I'm considering reading Steelheart. Will check if it's available for me.

35559 Finished yesterday another U-gem: book 3 of P.G. Wodehouse's Uncle Fred series. The audiobook is narrated by Jonathan Cecil, an absolute delight. I coulnd't help laughing out loud several times on my train commute, but I'm used to people looking at me funny. ๐Ÿคญ

35559 Yes, I think it can get away with it. ๐Ÿ˜Š
