Just removed Us Against You by Fredrik Backman from my TBR. It's a sad moment 😪 , but the recently finished My Friends almost pushed me over the brink from loving Backman into hating (or at least severly disliking) him and while I was drawn back eventually at the end, I remembered how Beartown had a similar, though not quite that strong effect on me last year.

And I want to keep him as an author I love, so I feel it's safer for me to avoid his unread books in the future.

I just went thru my kindle, but I seem to have no "vegimite" mentioned in any of my books. :(

@Ingeborg - thank you, it was a tiring, but very nice trip. We've visited beautiful places in France and Switzerland and ate lots of cheese. ;) But I'm looking forward to reaching home tomorrow. :)

Just a quick check-in. We are travelling home tomorrow and from Wednesday on I'll be around on a regular basis.

As an aside,
I don't have any interest in football, but there was palpable excitement in Geneva all round for the the women's championship. The English team was staying in the same hotel as us before one of their games (I know the final was played in Basel) and they were a very nice, cheery bunch. :))
