Sorry ladies I'm still trying not to finish my Aussie book. I'm about 60% through but I keep falling asleep every time I start reading!

Thanks, I didn't know that.
Hi Nanci, welcome. All you need to do this week is read a book either set in Australia or by an Australian author.

Yep, you're right :)

I'm happy to go with a detour for 6 as well. It's pretty easy to find an Aussie book/author. Let's get this party started ;)

Could we just do a spell-it-out for Cambodia/Kampuchea if we didn't end up using a detour for this leg? I really don't fancy any books off that list!
Hi Ladies, the detours I can most easily satisfy are:1. Read a book with tattoos on the cover
2. Read a book where the title and the series are the same name
4. Read a book where the edition you are reading was published on the 9th of a month
5. Read a book that has a predominately blue and bronze cover
7. Read a book with an umbrella on the cover
I like the team name too :)
I think if we detour we probably want to look at as many people as possible reading a detour book, rather than just four, as it will increase our points for that leg. Is that right - or can the other participants read Australia books to get the points?
I'd like to join up too. I'm Emma from Australia, I will pretty much read all genres but I go through phases as to what genre I prefer at any given time.
Bit late to the challenge but thought I would join in.I'm going to try for three little pigs

Goodreads Choice Awards 2015 ChallengeBooks I have already read in 2015:
Goal 20 books
2/20
Debut Goodreads Author
An Ember in the Ashes - 31/1/16
Everything, Everything - 17/1/17
So, for each word we spell out we can choose a book read in December and get double points for it, is that correct? We don't actually get points for the books used to spell it out though, just for the Decemver book we choose?
