Just popping in to say hi! Still in California for my daughter’s graduation trip. Sadly not getting much reading done but we are having a blast. Lots and lots of hiking.

Oh my gosh, I totally agree. He really drives home how annoying Lockhart is supposed to be.

Yes, I agree, Kaley. A lot of emotions are getting stirred up with me for this read. It's taking me a long time to get through it because I have to keep setting it aside.
That looks really magenta. We aren't using the color site this time, but we can use it elsewhere so go ahead and read it if you want!
We can still move books around, so we might do that. I have a red one for sure still to read.Just got this update in the captain's thread: We'll be adding tri-wizard tournament soon. That one has no time limit either.
So no time limit on whatever those events might turn out to be. That might change our planning strategy as well.
I am excited to see what the Tri-Wizard brings, too.You guys, we are actually doing really really great. We have books projected for a lot of the slots and now we can start looking at the spell-outs. I have been holding off to see how the tri-wizard works before we place books, but our planning sheets look good.
Also, just picked up a cozy mystery with berries on the cover so we have that category covered. :)

Yes, it was interesting to revisit it through her eyes. Charlie is messed up, and rightfully so, but now that I'm reading a little more about their dad I wonder if they would have been "normal" anyway. I really don't like him right now. He seems like a real selfish jerk with no love for his girls.
(view spoiler)
I'm sure this is because I have issues with my dad so I'm projecting. LOL
Just getting up here, Devann! Let me pop over to the captain's group and see what is up. It looked like we are getting stomped in Quidditch, though. Ugh.

Oh, same here! That actress was perfect. I just adore Molly Weasley. I liked her in the books, but I absolutely loved her once the movies came out. It's hard to not be swayed by some of the casting choices in a series this long. I can't help but think of the actors for a lot of the scenes now.

Mmmm, haven't made my mind up which one of these Huck is yet either?"
I'm just now there, and I agree. Not sure what to think about Huck yet.
And I am shocked that (view spoiler)

Very curious to hear what you think of book 2. I liked it a little more than book 1. But I have a soft spot for Helen and Rhys.

You know, I had forgotten how Harry felt when we was around Ron's family. (view spoiler)And Lockhart is such a blowhard! I am not able to read this part without picturing Kenneth Branagh. He captured him perfectly.
