I completely agree. It was hard to read about how what the kids went through, but I loved the story.

Just got this one loaded on my Kobo. Probably starting tonight.

I’m up to chapter 17. Doing the audio during my runs and my commute, but only on 1.5x. I can’t do faster or I lose my place.

I wasn’t sure about Gwen, but she has really grown on me. Loving Grimm, Bridget, Rowl and Benedict.

And I am totally pulling for Bridget and Benedict to fall madly in love and conquer the world together.

Good morning! How was everyone's weekend? I worked a lot and didn't get a lot of reading done.

I'm such a moody reader. It's why I avoid signing up for buddy reads usually. I am struggling through Magic Bites right now. It's a decent book, but it isn't gripping me like I thought it would. Everyone loves the series so I think it's my state of mind. And it's like 200 pages so I should have been able to knock it out in a couple of hours, but here I am, days later, reading a chapter here and there. And I'm doing a BR of Dark Lover and I think it's the same way.

Anyone else get moody like that? I'm in a historical mood and I have a bunch of paranormal / fantasy to read.

Yes! i totally agree, Maritza. I love how wonderful Gabriel turned out to be. He just loved her and accepted her for who she is.

For those of you who have read the Wallflowers series,

I knew she had influenced him for the better but I loved the glimpse of their future. (hide spoiler)]

I thought the scene in Greg's office was interesting. I'm trying to wrap my brain around the concept of magic times / technology times. Seems inconvenient for travel. You would think someone would design a car that is dual-purpose. Or maybe Kate just can't afford one?
