This is going to take me a while with all of the quidditch books this week. Had to pause.I really want to smack Scarlett, though.

100% not my favorite Butcher book. In fact, a distant third behind Codex Alera and Dresden. But I did end up enjoying it. I think he made the first book way too long. Establish the world, suck us in, but leave us going back for more. However, I will read the next book, if for Rowl and the cats if nothing else.
Favorite characters ended up being Rowl, Benedict & Bridget, with Grimm and Folly as well. I really wasn't bugged by Gwen like a lot of you were. I rated it 3 stars, which is an enjoyable book for me.

Ok, liking it better now. Took me a minute.I have to work late tonight but I'll be back to discuss tomorrow.
I have the spreadsheet up to date.Looks like we need a few defense books finished for DADA, our celestial books for Astronomy, and some charms and spells letters.

I definitely think the tweaks helped, Karen. I know you have a great perspective since you were part of the pilot of the game. The changes have been good.
It's so fun to watch the action. Fast like real quidditch, I think. And I love watching the plotting in the Dungeon threads.
I have to work late tonight and early tomorrow, but I'm going to update the books read into the sheet now.Everyone give Jenny a big cheer as she defends our players on the quidditch pitch. Don't forget to wear your shirts with pride!
Good morning, my beautiful, cunning Slytherins. Our second round of quidditch is going strong! I knocked out several books yesterday as one of the starting chasers, Jenny is kicking butt as one of the beaters, and Natalie kept the entire match going by being an amazing announcer. She also stayed on top of the rules which was super helpful for me.Natalie, Karen Michele and Jenny were so great in the first match as volunteers to figure out what worked, what didn't, and providing feedback along the way. You guys rock!
I know it looks intimidating, but it's pretty fun. I hope you all will consider playing for at least 24 hours in the final match.
