Finishing
and
probably today or tomorrow (working late tonight so not sure how long I'll stay awake to read once I get home)It looks like a belt on Tavi for the Academ's Fury cover:
* Read a book with a belt on the cover ( 40 points)
And the butler is wearing gloves on the Mrs. Jeffries cover if we still need that:
*Read a book with gloves on the cover ( 50 points)
That book is fantastic. And a total tearjerker. I laid on the couch and sobbed after I finished. Then hugged my dog.
Louise, I started to enter our books but wasn't sure how you wanted to track all of the bonus options so I stopped. I have to leave for work but I'll check in tonight to see what you want to do there.

Here's the response from Karen, Jenny!I don’t know those books, (except if it’s part of “The Cat who came for Christmas which I read maybe 30 years ago? 😮) but with animals in books they need to be the main reason for / central to the story. So, for example, when I wrote those dog tasks I had something like “Marley and Me” in mind. Which, from memory, Marley doesn’t have a POV but he is the reason for the story so I would count him as a main character.
That's a tough one! I feel like Yum Yum wouldn't be counted as a character even though I can see the argument for it. I'll ask in the captain's group, Jenny.
I am reading one with candy canes on the cover for this week and the series starts with Y, so double yay!
Definitely, Alexandra. We are rolling with the other letters, though!I am reading a book with candy canes on the cover right now.
I kinda like MISTLETOE because of the hard letter points. We are dead last overall, but 5th for hardest letters so we might be able to jump up in that ranking.Plus kiss is easy to find. :) And mistletoe with all of the Christmas romances. I'm feeling like some HEAs.
