I've also started Bone Crier's Dawn earlier in the week. I'll try to finish that one as well, but no promises

Hope everyone's enjoying the weekend!
Took the kids and pup on an unexpectedly long walk-3 hours wasn't the initial plan, but a good time was had"
Hey Cat ! I had a good weekend so far. Yesterday I spent the day with my sister, done a little shopping, which was nice. Today I pretty much spent the day binging tv... I wanted to read the whole day, but I guess my brain wanted me to take a break and just watch mindless mediocre tv. haha

How did you like Defy the Night? I've recently bought that book and I'm curious to see what you think about it.

Ready Player Two on the other hand, I've heard so many negative opinion; that it ruins book one and that it's just a cashgrap playing on the first book's success. You'd have to pay me to read it 😅

Thanks ! I didn't realize it was automatic

I really need to get on those books I started. I want to start this challenge with a clean currently reading shelf!

Still worth a look though, as free."

This is exactly why I'm afraid to even start on Moby Dick

I agree, some books are badly narrated while others are quite good. I listened to the Jane Austen novels this way. I liked the narration by Elizabeth Klett.

I'm in the same situation. I have a couple of books I need to finish, but I'm not exacltly in the mood for them... So I end up reading dumb fanfiction as those cannot count to the challenge anyway.

I'm not a big fan of horror either. Be it in book or movie form.
Not that I'm easily scared, I just don't get much enjoyment from it.

I can use the tracking sheet without issues.
Here is my shelf for the challenge: Challenge-Wheels6
I'll have a look at my shelved for book for Black Coral.
I know already I'll be rereading On the Edge, buddy reading it with Sonia :)

I love Bruges as well <3 Ghent I haven't been to in a while. I think the last time was with a schooltrip in high school... oops !

I'm Claire from little Belgium.
I'm so happy to play another round of the Wheel-a-thon. I think my first group challenge was a wheel here.
I read quite diversely, but I read mostly fantasy, UF, and MM romance. I can normally read a lot in a month, but I just started a new job and have to get used to this new rythm, so I might not read as much in the beginning of the challenge. I'll do my best in any case.
One of the first books I'm planning to read is The Empire of Gold, so that should bring us quite a few points. Like some of you, I'm hoping this challenge will shake me up and make me read the big fantasy books that are just gathering dust on my shelves.

I'm happy I did it with you all. Sorry I wasn't that present the last weeks, as my reading slump kicked in and life became really stressful for a minute there.
I hope to do better next time we're in a challenge together.
