If no one has claimed the musical instrument task, I'll take it ! 😁😁Perfect excuse to continue with the Lord of Discord series. The next one is about the brother who can speak to animals, and it's MMM. I cannot wait ;) ;)
And if you're in the mood for historical romance, I quite liked
The female lead is deaf in that one.

The Fireman
The Quiet at the End of the World
The Fault in Our Stars"
[EDIT something weird happened when I first posted]
For MM romance lovers I recommend the Turning Point series by NR Walker.
I read the whole trilogy before the challenge and they're nice. I liked them. One of the main character's dad is deaf.

Holler if you can find any instruments! :D"
I can take care of that :)
Sonia convinced me to read Lords of Discord, and I was planning to start the second book in the next couple of days. I can prioritize this over my other books no problemo

"I can see both :)
A lot of you seem to have chosen your tasks already. What a team ! It's sometimes a bit hard to see which tasks are already taken or not. I think I'll just go with my gut, read what I have planned in my head for my other challenges and see how it can fit in here. And if there's a tricky one I'll see how I can contribute then.
I hope this is okay for you all.

I read them when I was 15 or something, and at the time I liked them a lot. At the time I didn't read much and I was just discovering how much reading novels could be fun. Before that I only read the mandatory books for school, and mangas. I was reaaaaally into mangas back then.
Then only 2 years later I decided to reread them and I could not bring myself to finish the first book because it was so bad. I guess my reading tastes really got refined in those 2 years. haha
Sammy wrote: "She did a series of hardcore BDSM books based on Sleeping Beauty. Trust me when I say the writing in those makes her other work look sublime! lol."I think that's the one! Indeed, it was sleeping beauty and not beauty and the beast. but yuck !!
Sonia wrote: "I really wish her gothic writing style didn't make my brain struggle, because I wanted to read her books so badly. Eni has a few, but I just can't.Darn brain and how it is wired..."
I've read Interview and Lestat and I kind of liked it. But I couldn't bring myself to read more. Her writing is not the easiest to get into.
I've also tried another series by Anne Rice, some sort of beauty and the beast thing if I remember right, but it did not work for me.
