Sounds cool, Juliana !I will try setting ours up and share it here, and then based on all your suggestions I can better it as we go ahead, if thats okay ! :)
Juliana, do we all have access to the Master Spreadsheet or is it shared with just the Captains ?Just wondering, if I can see how that is laid out, if easily accessible !
Unless Juliana (or anyone else for that matter) has set up a Spreadsheet, I will work on getting one up probably this evening or early tomorrow. But meanwhile, this is a log to the books we will read.
(This is a rough draft, I will probably work on getting a better looking draft when I work on the Spreadsheet)

Goodness ! This is an amazing list !I have saved each of books that you guys have mentioned, in my spreadsheet. I will be heading to my Library this weekend and I hope to find atleast one of these to satiate my Fantasy-ical hunger !
Thank you so so much for all the suggestions, please keep them coming.. I am just so glad to be in this group. I am already learning loads ! :)
Okay, now I am even more confused ! :PI will read all of these one day, but what do I start with ?
.. and moreover most of these are long books, would that be an overdose of Fantasy for a newbie like me to this genre ?
I am a little too hell-bent on how the characters shape off in any book I read coz for me it is they who I connect to the most. But, I dont get stuck on that.. yes, I have my guilty pleasures ! :PFor one of my challenges, I need a book set in Texas, so I am even trying to find a Fantasy book set in Texas (not a regular combination :P). How is this book ?
Glass Houses
Okay, I have a favor to ask from you guys !I wish to read a Fantasy book, and this isnt a very often read genre for me.
So, please suggest me a fairly light read to start up with. Moreover, if it is a Series book.. please suggest me the first one of the series that you really liked.
I know I will get some awesome suggestions, so please help me scale it down as well. :)
Thank You ! :D
Hope all of you are having a pleasant and enjoyable Halloween weekend.. do share if you made some of the interesting delicacies you were talking about.Damn, I am going to put on weight being with this group ! :P

Sometimes witb the larger ones..we restrain them on the floor....but have you everhad to restr..."Geez ! For some reason I am scared of dogs and you have to be around ones who are tough to tame seems so damn hard. I would love to see though how all the examining is done.
But isnt it fun being around animals ? :)
Catherine wrote: "so what is a Validation Engineer? "As a validation Engineer is a Pharmaceutical Company, which currently is under the scanner of the FDA, my job is to validate / test cleaning methods for the equipment we use for the manufacturing of the Drugs / Medicines that J&J makes. We are currently making Pepcid Complete Berry Tablets and each time a new batch is made of this (or other drugs), we have to design a better and fullproof method to clean these huge equipment which formulate all these drugs. Chemical concentration, time of cleaning specificity to the second, contamination concerns and many other such factors need to considered so that there accurate about of required drug in the medicines produced. (A milligram here and there and people can literally die, coz we are talking toxic drugs here). So, we have to be very careful with all that we do. This part is called Cleaning Validation, which is my forte.
So that cleaning encompasses all the standing around for long hours. Moreover, we need to document each Protocol, make lengthy reports justifying each comma we put and each second we took to better the process. So, things are under the scanner currently for literally everything you do or put to paper, thus the seriousness of the whole situation.
But its a fun job.. mighty interesting to see how the drugs that we lift of the counters in stores are made from scratch, and cool to be a part of it. :)
Its 4 am and I am still at work.. I started at 7 am yesterday and have atleast 6 more hours to go. I will be hitting around 30 hours straight today. :PCatherine, 10 hours standing is indeed tough. I have been standing for the past 4 hours and my legs have left my company.
Kelly, Rockwell Automation is a reputed company, seems like an interesting job profile. Hope you are enjoying your work.
I am still at work and its been around 16 hours (and its kinda a daily show) :PI work with McNeil / Johnson & Johnson as a Validation Quality Engineer and it is a crunch situation so 80-Hours a week has become a norm !
What I hate in this is that I dont enough time to read. Hopefully I will be able to manage my work and reading better in the coming weeks and I can be an active participant in this challenge. (I so so want to)
Okay, ladies ! I come over here after a 14-hour work day (and counting), hungry, battered.. and what I see ? All these mouth-watering, lip-smacking delicacies ! Geez, you are killing me ! :)
I might have missed this one before, if discussed. But where does each one of you dwell ?
I am in Lancaster, Pennsylvania (East Coast - US) as of now.
Catherine seems to be our celebrity of the group ! :)Hi, Catherine !
By the end of this challenge, I might as well be added to the fan base ! :)
*kidding*
Here is my shelf for this challenge !Challenge - NBRC - TT3
Juliana, I certainly would help you with the Spreadsheet. As I mentioned, my work drives me bonkers at times, but I am hoping to be more around.
Oh ! Did I mention that this is my first Tower Teams ? So, since I am a novice and a rare specie here, I better get some brownie points ! ;) :P
I LOVE spreadsheets.. my works crazy a bit with 80-hours a week.. but I would be up to help if needed with that.
LOL, Sarah ! You are funny ! :).. and now that you say, I really need to go check other teams to check if there is any other guy around in this challenge, now thats interesting to find out ! ;)
Which team are you in ? I hope we end up reading some common books during this challenge ! :D
Greta, I know right ?! I will so miss our banter ! :(But, I am sure River Sprites will enjoy your company. I hate to compete with you, though !
You are, after Abbie (who I have shared 3 teams in various challenges with), my most common partner and I am so glad ! :D
