I was actually in a room the whole time - they just kept drawing more blood and then having to wait for tests and blood match and typing.

I really enjoyed What Remains and would recommend it!

Hi ladies! I hope everyone is having a great weekend! I spent yesterday getting blood - turns out I was very anemic. I was hoping to get a bunch of reading done while I was waiting..waiting...waiting (I was at the ER from 7:30am-3:30pm) but there were so many distractions. I promise to get caught up this week though, and I'm feeling better.

I did just finish the backroom BOM, I finished another book friday night and I'm almost done with an audiobook I was listening to. Enjoy your Sunday!

Hi everyone! Sigh... my week has gotten away from me as has today. I had two more books I was hoping to finish but it looks like they'll go on next weeks tally. Thank you for setting up the planning spreadsheet for next week @Melinda! And great job on the doorstopper, @Joanne!!!

Yay - we've completed our shifter genre books!!! As for letters needed, I think anything works (it helps if your book has more than one letter) - but we can move things around if needed.

Yep, we didn't come to a consensus to change this week. I'll update the spreadsheet to see where we're at. We can definitely use longer books (over 400 pages) if you have any!

Yet another team asked for a re-spin and got Espresso and Sports. The new word seems to be related to the original word. Since we have Cinnamon it would maybe be a different spice?

I'm fine either way - I can usually find books for just about anything

Another team did a re-spin today and got macchiato and retellings.

The two teams who have done respins so far got words and genres that aren't on the main list - one got TWIX with Retellings and the other got GALAXY with Aliens.

FYI, the Backroom BOM starts today and is M/M.

I'm fine keeping our word and have plenty of genre books I can read, but if you all want to respin I'm fine with that as well.

Thanks for reading this, @Joanne! The combinations of genres isn't something I could struggle through, so I appreciate you taking one for the team. And living in southern California, which recently just got out of a long drought, I don't think I'd enjoy this at all! :-)

How's everybody doing? I'm slowly getting my house back to order and getting rid of lots of junk that accumulated in closets and drawers! Thank goodness for audiobooks that I can listen to while cleaning/sorting!

Sorry I've been absent for a couple of days - my brother is doing work around my house and I've been helping and not on the computer. I do have several books I've finished and I'll post them tomorrow. I hope everyone is doing good and enjoying your books!!!
