That sounds like a fun afternoon. I read this afternoon and a little bit of the Braves game but now I'm updating some challenges and finishing watching the Braves. We are staying in tonight and making homemade pizzas and gonna play some board games. We haven't done that in a long time!

I got this one! #52 - 10 Commandments - "Don't commit adultery" - Read a book when someone cheats
I just finished
Midnight Blue. Alex was cheated on by his ex-fiance and that starts this story rolling. There are a couple other times in the book that could be considered cheating too.

I just finished the Dubai book. I'm going to work on City of Brass this weekend between other things that I will read. It's easier for me to split that kind of book up. I should have a few books finished this weekend and hopefully they will work for some of the chipmunk tasks.

I can read one of those romance books for the UAE task. I should be able to knock that out tomorrow.

I finished my book and am getting things updated on the spreadsheet right now. Y'all have been chatty tonight. We made salmon burgers and roasted veggies. Now, I'm hanging out on the couch and plan to watch some of the Braves/Mets game before bed. This is a quiet weekend for us so I should be able to get a few books read this weekend and I have some longer ones planned to work on.

I'll have the 2015 book finished tonight unless someone gets one done before me.

I'm planning on reading
The Girl on the Train and can have this one finished by tomorrow. It works on the 2015 list unless someone else beats me to it.
Audiobooks...depending on your library availability versus purchase, I always recommend
Kulti on audio.
Mariana Zapata's books are better on audio for me then reading them and I've given most of her books a 5 star rating.

I hadn't voted on the second poll yet so I went and voted for it. I also went and put the Fourth Wing on hold at the library and realized that it has 49 copies and 17 holds so it must be popular even though I've never heard anything about it.

I finished the book that I think will work for pick axe and put it on the spreadsheet.

I may need clarification on a cover for the pick-axe task but was going to use it somewhere else when I thought Olivia had outwitted the task, lol. I'm reading
and I think it should work but I want to make sure.
Robin (Saturndoo) wrote: "UGGGHHH why are both polls filled with so much fantasy and sci-fi 🤨 A Thousand Splendid Suns is a book I hated.
After reading Daisy Jones & The Six--another book I h..."I don't really like those genres much either so you're not alone. I've read a few different BOM's in here over the years but this run just seems to be in that direction. I've read
and it was a pretty good book. I think I'm going to vote for
on the first poll. I have no idea what to pick for the second poll.

So I read this book a couple years ago and I really liked it and it works for math symbols on the cover if anyone wants to give it a go. I'm pretty sure I used it for math symbols for a challenge back in those days.

I finished
Under Pressure and put it on the spreadsheet that can be used for the New Adult task to get us a new one. I can take the spade/shovel/pick-axe one but I won't get it done until tomorrow afternoon if someone finishes one before me.

I can read the New Adult book. Let me find one and I can probably knock it out by tonight.

DQ Day 3
Chapters 16-21
11. The fight with Raff's old band (who looked like clowns) that ended with snakes is one of the first times we see the almost full band working together. What did you think of this scene? Did you like the action or was it confusing?
I liked the scene. It worked well with the story.
12. So the hoarder kobolds - I thought they were great! And the bird-like creatures pulling the carriage. Do you have a favorite creature you've seen so far, or one you'd like to see? Tell why.
At that point, I didn't really have a favorite creature. I thought they all were unique and added different things to the story.
13. I think in the last half of this section we really start understanding what a big deal the Kings of Wyld really were. And we get to compare them to the Screaming Eagles. What do you think about the ethics and popularity of the new bands that kill captive monsters in arenas?
I liked the way of the old bands over the new bands. I didn't think it was fair to kill monsters in arenas.
14. Lastleaf gave his (and the hordes') motivations for conquest. Do you think his reasons were valid, or is he just evil? Do you feel at all sorry for the monsters?
I thought his reasons were valid but I did feel sorry for the monsters.
15. We all picked our favorite character in day 1 questions. Has yours changed since then?
Nope, my favorite character remained throughout the entire book.
Christina wrote: "Anna, I see you answered Day 1 + Day 2 for the King of the Wyld BOM discussion - could you possibly answer at least the last set as well so we'll get those extra 20 points? :) https://www.goodreads..."I just fixed the Liam book, all my shelves had disappeared on that one. I'm going to answer the questions right now. We fly out tomorrow until Wednesday and I won't have computer access but I'll still read some and then when I come home on Wednesday night I'll get everything updated.

This series also works for X.
https://www.goodreads.com/series/1120...I read one of those series books for another challenge awhile ago and have it always available for weird x things.

I finished a 500 page book and let me go get a couple others added to the spreadsheet. I'll take a look at the tasks for June to see what I can plan in advance. I have a few books that I'm going to need to knock out before the end of the month that will help with this month.

I just dumped 10 books in there and I'll look for a couple 500 page books to see if I can knock them out before the end of the month.

Yay for 3 day weekends! That's why we are traveling because of the holiday weekend but after this month, we won't be traveling for a bit. I blew the vacation fund pretty hard for these few months so I have to save back up so we can travel again.
