35559 @Allison, which edition of Deadly Appraisal did you read? You have two version on your GR shelves and the one on the TT shelf isn't the one with the page count on the spreadsheet. Thanks!

35559 My partner has a food blog that I edit -- and taste test ;D -- but he makes weird fiddly stuff, not comforting cookies. I love his food but really I JUST WANT ALL THE COOKIES.

35559 I am back now too :)
It looks like Ozana's book works for N (character "Nella") so we will probably go with that.

But for those people who aren't online as much or just don't check in on this team thread as much, don't worry -- Jessi and I can usually find a good spot to put your books.

@Allison re your spreadsheet note about that anthology -- I tend to agree with you about character names. I don't mind using author names, but if you aren't comfortable with that, no problem, we'll just use the Title :)

So good! Well, not every season was equally good, but overall a great show.
I bought the SerialBox continuation (which isn’t over yet) but I have not actually started reading/listening to it yet. It’s also narrated by Maslany or I might not have bothered checkin it out :)

Can you check your start date on that? It looks like a previous read from 2017...?"

And actually when did you finish it? The Read date also looks like last week [in which case we would not be able to use it...]?

Good cuz that was what we had to put last week, based on your shelf :)

Sorry to heat about sick kids and hubby!
We will get Nice Girls Don't Live Forever added.
Let us know when you have more stuff :D :D :D

35559 Maybe I will take a look at the sample (again, lol). If is seems like it'd be a relatively fast read for me, I could try tackling it over Thanksgiving.

Allison and M are the best among us with the long books though!!
The rest of us have some but nowhere near as many as those 2 overachievers ;D

Great! I put it on the spreadsheet for you, on an E for Ellery (character name).
Just a reminder that you don't need to finish the DQs the same week that you finish reading the book. Like, if you need to use your free time just to finish the book before deadline, just concentrate on that. You can always answer the questions afterwards (unless you REALLY like using the DQ breaks to guide your schedule) ;D

35559 I think we just did a good job reading Wrath books during the first few weeks that had no Mini Challenges, and then did well on the Wrath challenge, and since pretty much all the teams have been so focused on all the Minis that everything has evened out. That is my theory, anyway!

35559 Just noticed that we are actually in the lead for the "Pride" prize of Reading the Most Books for Our Sin, by like 3 books. Teams Acedia and Vanity are tied for 2nd place. Not sure how that all happened, but heya!

If it gets to Week 10 and it looks like we are surely not going to win the Grand Prize ["Gluttony" for overall points], we can try going all-in for Pride. I think at this point we are also a shoo-in for the "Envy" prize of most BOM points, but let's not get too cocky ;D

35559 @Frankie -- we put your Stalking Jack the Ripper book in for an S! It also works for A and W. Let us know if any other relevant letters popped up.

@Kerri -- do you think you will have at least 1 more book this week?

Everybody is doing so great! Yay for Spell-It-Outs!!!

35559 @Rebecca - Actually we're just gonna have to use title and author on those Nonfiction ones, because there can be some weirdness with "characters" in nonfiction. It's not always clear what counts and what doesn't in memoir type stuff so it's probably better to stick to title/author.

35559 Just saw that! Everything looks good.
The DQ links for Days 2 and 3 were a little wonky but have been fixed, that was probably my fault anyway for doing at least 1 of those on a tablet. ;)

As for me, I stayed up late last night. Finished my first book and ended up reading about 1/3 of the second one -- the Vampire Academy finale. Those last few VA books are long but have gone down like candy!

Will also start another audiobook today.

I'm hoping to at least start the Two Can Keep a Secret BOM this week as well but am not sure. I have the Kindle version on a library loan but was hoping to get the Audio too and my Hold is just not in yet (and it's one of the things that got "temporarily removed" from Scribd for me, grrr) so I'm not sure which version I'm gonna end up using.
