If Joanne, me, and then Allison read the books we currently have on there after all of M’s, then we will total 17 books.

So the 2 parts of the question are 1) whether anyone would like to add another # to reach 18 books, and 2) whether it’s even worth doing that — or even going past 15 at all, of which I assume the 15th would be Joanne’s — if the additional book(s) are all shortish.

Oh no, sorry you have been sick! I have had a cold & cough since the weekend too, but thankfully nothing too terrible.

I cannot decide about the Discword book. I do WANT to read it, I am just concerned about it being only about 350ish pages... But then again, we might end up needing some “shorter” books reach our minimum anyway... Plus it has a red cover, so it is 5 points either way, for ladder or for sin. I am fairly sure it will have something wrath inducing in it as well!
So I will just keep reading my other (Sin) book and wait for other people to chime in on whether we’ll be going for that extra “ladder rung” multiple of 3!

And in any case I am going to do Thanksgivingy family stuff for a couple hours...

Because... personally I think I would rather stop at 15 and not read mine, simply in favor of reading another longer book instead.
This way, Joanne’s “In Death” book rounds out 15 (50 bonus points total) and we’ll be done.

We do need more books, be they ladder or Sin, to hit our 30 book weekly minimum, but a few people still haven’t listed anything. Assuming those people are also reading, we should be okay...

Just got home! Gimme a couple more hours on #6...

After that I think I will start on a short story anthology or maybe the next Shadowhunters book.
Since it looks like I will have a couple more days to decide on that Discworld idea :)

It starts on 2 Dec, but you can join in any time as long as it's within TT (which ends on 16 Dec... or rather 15 Dec for most people in the Western Hemisphere ;D)

I wouldn’t worry about it too much — especially if sin specification is Wrath ;)
At this point I think the page count points and Sin alignment [if we want to go for that prize category] are more meaningful than the Sin points.

And then after this book, I'll need to decide whether to work on another long book VS working on a Discworld book, depending on whether we'll need the latter for a multiple of 3...

No pressure, it’s just that I am already halfway done with my #4 (it is short) and am trying to figure out how best to time it. I can either finish it this evening, or, if you need another day on your book, I can switch back to working on my #6 until you say 🙂
