The mini christmas stockings I have made so many of now, but I haven't had a chance to take a picture of all of them together yet. They are by far my fav thing to make because you can do any colour and different patterns.

I think I've just been stressed with making sure that I have everything sorted for my travels on Monday (covid related documents and I haven't even begun to pack.
That said, I have more books listed than my average for next round as I will be joining in with the next two BOM. I am confident that I will finish them all as I plan to spend the next few weeks just crafting as I am going to be doing my first stall at a local christmas market in December and I find it very relaxing to listen to audiobooks while crafting. For anyone who is curious, I mostly knit and cross stitch.
Also, well done team!

@Sammy, I will also be finishing Gone with the Wind after wheel ends.

It's okay, I'll have a face mask on so maybe they won't notice so much. At least it will make the journey interesting.

I also found a book for humour A Short History of Nearly Everything which..."
Even better! Thank you Cat! :D

I also found a book for humour A Short History of Nearly Everything which is a nice 544 pages.
I am going to be travelling back to the UK on monday which will include 3 (fairly short) flights and several hours of waiting around so should be a perfect opportunity to get some reading done, unless something goes wrong and I get super stressed out.
And for this round, I am on track to finish the two books I have on the spreadsheet.

Maybe one day when I am bored, I will go through them to look at them properly and read some reveiws to see if I will actually enjoy them or not and if I decide not then I will remove them.
I also need to get in the habit of reading books from my kindle more. I've been more focused on reading my physical books that I forget about the couple of hundred I now have on kindle. I might make it a goal next year to read at least one book a month from kindle.

9.Let’s talk about Cate. What could Grey have possibly said to her to make a mother hate her child? (If she is her child.) What do you think of Cate and Iris’ relationship?
I'm not sure what she could have said, but it was probably related to their disappearence. Cate and Iris' relationship seem to be more normal but to me it feels more sisterly than mother and daughter.
10. What do you think causes the sisters to have the power of suggestion, or the power of the kiss, or whatever you call it?
I still have no idea.
11. How do you feel about Grey's actions in the hospital and during the escape?
She obviously is very concerned for her life and her sister's lives, whether or not it is real.
12. The girl says “It is in me…In her…In you.” What is in them? And, may I say, yuck. This story seems very myth-laden. Has anyone recognized the myth yet, or do you think this is an original one? Are you enjoying the story so far? (Is anyone else having a flashback to the creepy video in season one of True Detective, or is it just me?)
I have not recognised he myth yet, but the story is interesting. It's not usually one I would read. I've not seen True Detective so I cannot comment on that one.
And, just out of curiosity, has anyone done a Google search on the flowers yet?
I have not, but now I am curious.

I'm adding my BOM DQ answers to the thread now so give me about 5 mins or so and I will have that updated on the spreadsheet too.

5. Grey leaves her sisters a note that reveals the creepy guy is really a very bad person...that she's in peril. She provides a key and sends them to a super creepy apartment...'The missing sister, the dead body, the burned apartment, the gunshot wound, the armful of stolen artifacts. Even harder: the man in the skull, the flowers growing rampant in all the soft parts of a corpse.' What is your conclusion so far?
I still don't know what to expect. Something definitely changed them, but I still don't know what or to what extent.
6. Vivi and Iris find a diary from their father...his notes supporting the Vogue article with all kinds of rumors about the girls. What do you think about their father? Was he crazy? Are his girls dead?
I don't think he was crazy. I think he missed the children that left him and when they returned different, he didn't know how to process that. He also seemed very aware of all the strangeness that started to happen.
7. What is with the flowers and vegetation found in the girls and around the girls? This organic, smelly stuff keeps showing up? What do you think is behind it?
Again, I'm not sure. As I said in my answers to day 1, I'm not really up to date on my mystical creatures and things so I don't really know what to expect.
8. Tyler shows up at the end of this section of our reading. There's an article referenced with mention of a disappearance. Someone else came back. What do you think is next? What will Tyler's role be...hero, bad guy, or is his appearance a cameo/distraction?
I think Tyler is good. He seemed to really care about Grey, but he also has some sort of ability or whatever himself as he isn't affected by the girls so I can see that playing a part later on.

Sorry, Jenny. I can't say that I see a car tyre on the cover.
I have a looked at my books and I found a good one to use next round. Eragon is an E, it is YA and a decent length at 503 pages. The second book also begins with E, so if I really get into the series, maybe I will do both next round. I have some other options I could use, but I think I will start with Eragon.
