35559 I did do a Covid test as I'm hoping to be well enough to visit my grandparents soon who I haven't seen in months. Thankfully it is not Covid, but I didn't think it was. Just a bad cold, which as you said Elisabeth, there is a lot of it going around.

35559 I've been struck with a cold again which is mostly a bad cough at this point. I ended up calling in sick to work tonight as my whole body aches and working in the cold all night again would just make me worse. It is a chilly -2°c (the coldest it's been so far here) which means work would be colder than usual as well.
My illness has made me very tired too so whenever I've tried to read, I end up falling asleep. But I am off work now until the next round begins so hopefully I will be able to still finish my planned books.

35559 I have started both my Baroque and K-pop books. I hope to finish one, if not both before the weekend.

35559 We are two books away from finishing our third spelling.

We currently have read 3 Blue cover books and 10 musical instrument books. 3 of those of duplicate words, but we have enough claimed to reach the 10 unique instruments needed for the extras to count. We also have another 6 blue books claimed.

35559 I had always wanted to learn but got put off at a young age when a cousin tried to teach me, she tried to adapt it because I'm left handed and then an aunt took apart what I had done because it wasn't right but wouldn't help me learn how to fix it so I got so upset.
My boyfriend's mum and grandma both knit (knitting seems to be very popular in Norway) and my boyfriend or his siblings don't seem interested in learning so it inspired me to carry on the tradition. I taught myself through YouTube videos. I'm not really interested in knitting clothing though. I like to make decorative stuff . My favourite thing to knit (and one of my most popular items) is tiny Christmas stockings that can be hung on the Christmas tree. I've been enjoying cross stitch more this year though.

35559 I do a mixture of crafts. Mostly knitting and cross stitch. A bit of diamond painting too.
This will be my third time having a stall so I'm still pretty new to it, but if I kept everything I made I would have too much stuff!

35559 I have yet to finish a book this round but I have 2 on the go, one of which is that long one. Both should get finished this week. I've got some blue books lined up after along with that K-pop book.

I've got a stall at a local craft fair on Saturday so I'll be spending my days off getting the last of my stock together which will include listening to audiobooks.

35559 I just finished my last book for round 3 as well.

Also, well done team! We have already found books that have 7/10 of the genres we need and the round hasn't even started!

35559 My library app has XOXO by Axie Oh which 40 people have tagged as K-pop so hopefully the word is mentioned at least once.
I've borrowed it but I will focus on the Baroque book first and if no one else has claimed K-pop once I've finished it then I will read it (or if we get to read extra with the tier bonuses).

35559 Oh, sorry. I guess I missed that bit of information the first few times I read it. I had to check AGAIN to finally notice it. Sorry for the confusion.

Lisa - if you don't mind holding off on yours. I spent an audible credit on mine and as it is over 900 pages it will be good points. Like Karen said, we might get to have to bonus with team tiers again.

35559 The rules just say only one bonus word per book. Nothing about finding the same word in multiple book

35559 We seem to have a nice mixture of letters in our next round. I agree with Karen, the U's will be hardest to find and 2 A's per word.

I definitely had no problem finding Blue covers, I still have some in reserve.

Thanks to the captain chat, I will be reading Quicksilver (The Baroque Cycle, #1) by Neal Stephenson which has the word Baroque in and is 927 pages long!

35559 I managed to find a fairly short one with a guitar on the cover that I will try and get done.

35559 That's true, but because I mostly listen to audio books, the default cover usually isn't the one shown so it has been the case where the cover in the app has an instrument on it whereas the default edition doesn't. It's rare though because if the instrument made it onto the cover, it's generally important to the book.

35559 That's a good find Marie!

I'm going to finish the two books I have on the SS and then I'm hoping to find another instrument book. I've struggled to find any on my library app that I know I would finish in time. I'll check audible plus when I next have some time.

35559 We have completed our 2nd spell it out and are about halfway through a 3rd!

We have 6/10 Blue covers read with another 9 claimed. 4/20 Instruments have been read with 6 more claimed.
