I actually quite enjoyed that challenge. But reading did take longer because I'd have to stop and make note of any food items I found.

Haha, yes ! Now every book I read contains the word 'candelab..."
I am the same with 'vinegar' now. That was definitely more than a few challenges ago, although I think the mods do like to bring it back occasionally. This is not a hint for the mods >.<

I read a few Michael Morpurgo when I was growing up. I think I even did an essay on War Horse for part of my coursework in my English Literature A Level. I would like to read more of his books, but as you said, some of them aren't long enough for team challenges.

Norway is going very well thank you, apart from I seem to have a bit of insomnia at the moment. I think it's because it doesn't really get dark here at this time of year. You look out the window at midnight and it looks like it could be like 8pm in England! It takes some time to get used to.
Remember, we can use any books you have started and finished after the 17th, but any country books for mini 1 won't be able to be used unless they were finished today.
And as a general reminder to everyone, we can bank books for mini 2 so if you want to read something that doesn't fit any current tasks, you can do so. But of course finishing current tasks unlocks more tasks! We can also use read books for future cheese (as long as they were finished on or after 20th May.

I don't want to cause any confusion, but is the author from Barbados or a main character? If it is author then we can use it, but if it is a character then unfortunately we cannot.

- Read a book where a character visits a castle or palace
- Read a book with an earthly mode of transportation on the cover (i.e., no spaceship)

Yes, as long as it is only the second time Grenada is being used (which I believe it is) and it is in a different itinerary (which it will be).

Book: Fake Dates and Fanged Mistakes by Alice Winters
Date Read: 21-May
Pages: 386
Mini 3 W..."
Can you add this to your shelf please?

If all the other teams finish quickly, maybe those cheeky chipmunks will throw another one at us soon. But I do hate not knowing how long we actually have...

Book: I Who Have Never Known Men by Jacqueline Harpman
Date Read: 20th May 25
Pages: 208
Spell it out
I - title (mini 3 and cheese!)

I'm afraid I added to fuel to that by commenting that I don't like cheese. I only know what a lot of cheeses are because I was stuck restocking the cheese aisle in the supermarket I worked in for months before they moved me elsewhere.

Off topic, but anyone on Android get a Goodreads app update? It has dark mode now (it changed automatically for me as that's my default if an app allows it). Everything looks weird now but I'll get used to it :P

As long as we meet the requirements for the Itineraries, it doesn't really matter what order they are read in. We just need to remember that we can't finish books for Itinerary 2 until the first one is complete.
*edit*
We now just need one more hard book to meet the requirements and then the rest can be any difficulty.
It would be most convenient if we stuck with the order on the tracking sheet to avoid confusion, but we can move books around if needed.
