Like it or not, eighty percent of my sales come from either Amazon or an Amazon-owned affiliate.
So on the one hand, I like the idea of a challenge to Amazon's supremacy. But on the other hand, I fear in this case, it's trading one super-spreader event for another. ;-D

hahahahaahahaha. That's right. I did. LOL. Scandal at the Salty Dog. THERE ARE TOO MANY SCANDALS IN MY WORK SCHEDULE.
1 - Getting my first vaccination shot (Moderna, for them what likes to know)2 - Spring weather that's warm enough to swim
3 - The doves have returned and resumed their crazy chimney sex lives :-D
4 - Those first tentative spring roses
5 - The promise of...promise

Bare feet, gin and a good book. The essence of life well-lived. :-D

I love all of these!

Aww. I had just been thinking of Anne. She gave me the loveliest, softest moss-green scarf at the first Catalina Retreat, and I came across it the other day and wondered how she was.

I think of myself as reasonably practical and fairly intelligent, so I'm not sure why it took so long to figure out something that was probably obvious to everyone else. :-D
But so it is.
And better to get there late than never at all!

I once dropped my license in an airport, and THANK GOD a guy chased me down and handed it back to me. AND I once made a four thousand dollar deposit in an ATM and after I walked away, the ATM SPIT OUT THE ENVELOPE. And again, a good Samaritan hunted me down and gave me back my deposit.
Needless to say, I'm a lot more cautious these days.

I felt for a long time there was a market for gay cozies--true cozies without on-page sex--and that has turned out to be especially true during the pandemic.
I've received so many emails and messages--in particular from male readers--who love this series. Love--this is the part that caught me by surprise--the LACK of erotic content.
I'm not trying to analyze it or second guess it. I simply view it as affirmation.

THERE IS A REMOTE CONTROL THOUGH. :-D

Starting the next book, which will be Bell, Book and Scandal. Also working on Hide and Seek for Patreon. WHICH IS WHY I'M HERE ON GOODREADS.
What the heck is it, that when I'm about to start writing for real, I duck into Goodreads. :-D

I was super tired the day of the shot and had a bit of a headache for two days, but nothing major and I feel great now.
Alison wrote: "Thanks! I had a lot of emotions and I totally cried afterwards! What a feeling. :)"I had mine on Tuesday. I felt unexpectedly emotional too. In fact, the day before I even had it, I suddenly started crying in the car driving to my sisters because she was going to get hers as well.
It's kind of a big deal!
Jordan wrote: "Those all sound like so much fun! I love plotting, myself. Been in a crazy plotting frenzy for awhile now. Lol. Doesn’t get the current story written, but breaks from writing can be important too."So much of the "work" of writing--at least for me--happens before I ever start writing. That's the beauty of plotting/outlining. You're going through all the initial scenarios, discarding, upping the ante, embellishing. When I give myself plenty of time AHEAD of the writing, the writing always goes faster and more smoothly.
