Coz in real life, she'd be quickly bored by the current guy.

Does anyone here read on any of the mobile platforms like Radish or Dreame or Inkitt?
Are youse guys familiar with web publishing?

I really enjoyed My Life is Murder. I thought Lucy and her old friend the cop had more chemistry in the first series than she has with her police liasion in the second. But the best relationship, the real relationship, is that of her and her assistant. That's so engaging.

AND I THOUGHT THE SO WAS OBSESSED THAT MOVIE.
The tears of rain speech is brilliant.
Jordan wrote: "Also want to say, the romance in. Blade Runner is terrible. Just... to me, he’s coercing her. It didn’t feel real to me. Big surprise since it’s all about the guy. Ah well."Well, in fairness, it is the guy's story. ;-D And also, he's kind of a ruthless killer. I mean, not really. But yeah, sort of.

How is real life not enough for these people?! :-D
I admit, I wasn't a fan of the original Quantum Leap, but the new one looks sort of fun.

Isn't it interesting when cutting edge sci fi reaches the point of being dated?

I have mixed feelings about his leaving the Daily Show. I do think it's probably run its course. At the same time, of all the late night talk shows, he did the best job--his was the best and felt the most honest and intimate and insightful--of transitioning through the pandemic . He really did help us get through those first awful months. So I'm going to miss him, even though we don't check in much anymore.

And in the listening department, the Office Elf played me all of Jackson Wang's new album and all of Harry Styles' new album--both of which I hugely enjoyed.
What are you guys listening to right now?
OH and also on the audio front, I heard the first part of Kale Williams' narration for The Movie-Town Murders. Such a pleasure to hear his Sam and Jason again!

Just started
. I'm just not in a romance (mm or otherwise) mood right now, so I've set Tal Bauer aside for the moment.
Nor do I want anything heavy or angsty, so this book is perfect. Just old fashioned cozy with a slightly updated feel.
Unfortunately, I just can't seem to read for a than a few minutes before I'm out right now.
