"It's too late." Taylor said her eyes staring blankly. Taylor's form started to melt, "They're sucking the power out of Driden right now. Soon he'll be just like me. . .a shadow to house The Myst's evil spirits."

Slowly she turned, a dead sort of look on her face. It was Taylor. "Why are you here?" She said quietly, "Do you want me to have to kill you!" She yelled.
She threw the knife to the side angrily, it embedded itself in a tree.

She saw a short corn haired woman standing in front of her. Something black dripped from the knife she held.

As she stood there a scream came from somewhere over the river.

The water, with it's bubbling swelled up, touching the bridge. The earth hissed and within seconds holes ate threw the earth. It crumbled.

Soon the air around her started to thicken. It grew dark and much harder to see the branches around her much the less move through them.
Even so the moans of the trees carried on and soon she arrived at a river composed totally of silver substance. It ran faster than water and bubbled like a brew.
It was wide and across it she saw a tower the reached into the earth, like an arrow in the belly of a soldier.
All that was left between her and the winding staircase was the river. So wide and so silver.

((In the trees or on the ground?))

Somewhere in the distance she heard faint laughter. The moan that had struck before were now fading, leaving trail in a single direction. A trail of trouble.

He looked thoughtful, "How can you
have alliances without worrying about being stabbed in the back?" He said. Then he stood up, "As for Naomi I wouldn't be so sure that she'll be found. I've known her longer than you child, and as talented as she is, even she isn't immortal."
He bowed low to her, "fifteen minutes to midnight." Then he was gone.

He leaned back. "I don't believe you. After all your precious mentor has been missing for months and you haven't even tried to find her."
He smiled, "Just where do your allegiances lie? Only to some lover? That would be disappointing."

((What's pmsing?))
He glanced at her, "So what are you going to do?"

He didn't seem to notice. He peered down at the black. "It's more nasty than usual." He commented.

"That was the essence of The Mist. I'm assuming that was your first time seeing it?" Said a voice behind her, Belenos.

Just a moment after she had hidden a black mist settled onto the floor of the forest. It raised up high, about to were her shoulders would be. The trees moaned in pain as it rose, touching more of its bark. The mist bubbled as something unidentifiable move beneath its surface.
Minutes passed and slowly the mist lowered. When she looked at the bark of the trees it was scarred black. All smaller plants that had formerly been living on the ground had shrived up and died and everything that the mist had hidden was covered in a black shiny substance.

Then the moan came. . .from the tree. "Ruuuuuuuuuuuuuun. They coooooooooooooome." It moaned in a high octave. It shivered and dew dripped from it's branches. In another spot a tree moaned the same. Farther out another repetition occurred. The moans were heading in a single direction.

There was another moan from behind her. Right where a tree stood.

The trees themselves were strange as this was underground. Soon she began to notice strange things about them. They quivered ever so slightly and had a silvery tint to them. She heard a moan.

((How about she gets lost and she sees trouble? I'll show it if you help her get lost. Lol))

((Well, to take Calum to safety he would have to go to the city. Somewhere far away. He'd be out of the tunnels. Right now Derey is on her own. :( ))

The tunnels were dark as Derey passed through and there was a sense of abandonment. Everyone was somewhere else. Whether because of the event, or to get as far away from it as they could.
