32418 I started and finished...
Graffiti Moon by Cath Crowley

It was such a good book! I don't usually gravitate towards contemporary love story, but I was feeling girly today. Since this is the only book I have that's mushy, I decided to give it a go. I'm so glad I did. Read it in one sitting!

32418 This month's mod leader is Anna!

Here's her pick on Hidden Gems ^_^

32418 I started reading...
Girl of Nightmares (Anna, #2) by Kendare Blake

I originally didn't want to continue the series, but I found out it's just a duology. So might as well finish it.

32418 HEIDI: If you didn't like Percy Jackson series then you won't like Heroes of Olympus

32418 Jenny: 10 series if fine ^_^

I set the limit for those who only really have 5, but if you know you have 10, that's even more cool!

Heidi is right, you are a reading machine! Go Jenny!

32418 Although I'm already late on the band wagon for this thread, I really do want to know about series that you want to start this year? New or old published series, that you will start for the first time, this year.

*you can include books you started in January*
**the series doesn't need to be complete**
***don't add re-read series***

Here are mine:
1. Mistborn Trilogy By Brandon Sanders
2. Heroes of Olympus series By Rick Riordan
3. Country Saga By David Estes
4. Red Rising Trilogy By Pierce Brown
5. Shatter Me trilogy By Tahereh Mafi

32418 I second These Broken Stars (Starbound, #1) by Amie Kaufman . That's a good calm story to get the ball rolling. Actually all of Heidi's suggestions are good.

If you want to try A Thousand Pieces of You (Firebird, #1) by Claudia Gray . This one is good too ^_^ I just finished it and enjoyed it.

32418 JENNY: The love story is unique, weird, but different.

Just finished reading...
Warm Bodies (Warm Bodies, #1) by Isaac Marion

I enjoyed reading it. It's a different take on the whole Zombie thing. Like Edward to vampires, R is the new take on zombies. I'm not comparing the two stories, they are totally different from each other, but the whole new take on the scary "monsters" we all know.

32418 Oh yes, I remember Sabriel...That was a tough one to finish. So sad that I didn't I heard so much good things about it too.

Finished...
A Thousand Pieces of You (Firebird, #1) by Claudia Gray
I enjoyed it. Nothing too fancy. Like I said, if you're willing to look past the holes in inter-dimension travelling, then you might like it. The love story was weird for me. I'll write my review later.

32418 Hello all!

So this year I am going to introduce this new folder. I've seen this in a youtube video that I was watching and I thought it would be cool to add it in our group.

It's very simple, every Monday I, or anyone who is willing to contribute, will introduce a top 5 theme and people can list down their top 5. Not only will you be able to share your favorites books (or other book related things), but it might introduce people to other books as well.

I hope to have 48 topics for this idea, but if I run out then I won't make it to December. Also, if interests are not all there, I'll most likely end it too. Let's just play this one by ear ^_^

I'll start this in February.

32418 hehehehehe...
hahahaha...

you guys make me laugh!

32418 Don't get me wrong, there are a lot of interesting things going on with TKONLG, but the first few chapters were pretty quiet, but important to the story. I feel that writers will change the first part to make it more movie material.

Maybe if they make it into a TV Show, now that will be cool. It's long enough to be a good show.

32418 hahahahaha...omg ladies. I was so confused on what we were talking about until I saw Brigid's comment.

32418 Listening to...
A Thousand Pieces of You (Firebird, #1) by Claudia Gray

I'm enjoying it. If you can see past the holes in the story its pretty good. Its pretty much a love story with a sci-fi setting.

32418 The movie adaptation of this book ^_^
Warm Bodies (Warm Bodies, #1) by Isaac Marion
Jan 27, 2015 08:01PM

32418 I wouldn't mind seeing Cinder become a movie.

I feel TKONLG will be too slow for them to make a great movie into it. They will have to change somethings in the beginning and I don't think fans will like that much!

ODA: Heidi is right! You have great movie insider news! hahahaha...^_^
Jan 27, 2015 07:58PM

32418 I'll keep it on my mind...^_^
