Catrina started heading towards home but suddenly stopped abruptly. She turned. "I'll let you tag along with us and learn all our secrets under one condition..." She stared Trista directly in the eye. "You can't tell anyone. Absolutely NO ONE about us." She glanced away. "We'd be more than dead if anyone knew..." she whispered.
Lonny immediately was weary of Catrina as he'd never seen anyone so serious before in his life. He nodded quickly. "Okay."

Lonny jumped when he noticed the dog at his feet.
Catrina gritted her teeth and lowered the gun, a single tear dripping down her cheek. "Dang..." she whispered. 'I thought I knew better than her. Now why am I in this position? And what of Claire and I? What about us? Tell me...Mom, Dad. What should I do?'
A rustle sounded in the bushes where Lonny hid.
Catrina whipped the gun towards his position. "Come out!" she called.
Lonny shook in his shoes but took a slow step out, his hands raised innocently.
"What are you doing here!?"
"I-I'm just looking for a red-head girl about my age..."
Catrina knew who he was talking about. "Why do you want to see Claire?!"
He swallowed hard. "I-I think she can help me." 'Is Claire her name?'
Catrina kept her eyes locked on him but lowered the gun. Finally, she sighed. She put the gun back in her pocket. "Follow me."

"I want you to forget everything about us! I want you to disappear!" Her hand shook slightly, to her surprise. She'd killed before, but this seemed different. She knew the people she killed were evil. But was Trista really that evil? She was just a normal high school girl. What had she done wrong?

Lonny peered through the trees. 'Where are you?' he asked himself. 'Where are you?' He saw Catrina and Trista in their stand-off. He swallowed hard. 'Is that her?'
