"Let me go, Catrina," Claire growled, trying to pull away. She wasn't about to let her sister run her life again. These past two weeks had shown her that maybe it was time she took matters into her own hands. "I'm 13 now, not your little baby."
"Claire...just...stop it."
"No, Catrina. YOU need to stop it. You think that if you drag me along behind you, eventually I'll go willingly."
"That isn't-"
"Then what IS it?"
Catrina glanced sideways at Claire, slowing down as they approached the edge of town. "I'm not saying I want to run your life. I'm saying that I want to protect you..."
Claire rolled her eyes. "You're STILL harping that nonsense? Come on Catrina; I'm your sister. How dumb do you think I am?"
"I don't think you're dumb..."
"Then stop treating me like a child! I'm sick of it!"
Catrina felt her heart being ripped to shreds inside, but made no outward scene of tears. Only a frown could give her emotions away.
They stood there for a second, hair blowing in the wind, until Lonny came up behind them.
"What are you two still doing standing here?! Have your little chit-chat some other time."
"We don't need to have another chat," Claire muttered, matching Catrina's gaze. "Not in a million years."
'Oh, boy. Something BIG must be going on between those two...' "Whatever." He grabbed Claire's arm, avoiding Catrina like the plague, and continued toward the forest that framed the tiny city they lived in. It was time they moved on...
It was time they all moved on.

Lonny stood there with a blank face. "Okay...?" he started until he saw the man in the suit behind them. 'Oh good grief...' He sprinted toward the other side of town, right behind the others.

Claire looked to Catrina.
"Don't even try. You started this entire thing." She looked away from her sister, not daring to make eye contact.
"Because we're on the wanted list."
'How much more is she going to spill?' Catrina gawked to herself, crossing her arms. Her sister was rocking the entire foundation she'd built for years in a matter of seconds. How could she get a job if this was leaked to the media?
