3113 All dogs are little... My dog is little. It's just the way it is.

3113 Oh! :: Smacks self in head with a tire iron:: That flew right over my head.
Aug 28, 2008 09:00AM

3113 Berkleits? I probably know who he is but I can't seem to place the name...
Aug 28, 2008 08:59AM

3113 Yeah, a dog really needs those if they come north to the frozen waste lands. But if they grow up here it isn't necessary, usually. But I do know of some dogs here that need them. If it stops pain then fine, but as a fashion show, come now, put the crazies down and buy a clue ;)

3113 Yes, puppies are very vocal with their body language.
Aug 28, 2008 08:44AM

3113 Yeah he is, every once in awhile he will hit on something reasonable. It doesn't happen very often. I think a nice regiment of powerful medication might be in order.

Ha HA! : that can be our Right/Left nut scale; How much medication would it take to make them reasonable.

I think Savage Gets a 8 on the pill scale

3113 You should see the Face Dinah pulls when my wife tries to "dress" her. She raises one eyebrow, tilts her head and then looks at me for help.

"Papa, get this crazy lady away from me... I promise I won’t pee on your trebuchet again."

Aug 28, 2008 08:13AM

3113 I listen to the savage nation from time to time. I think you need to get through all his hyper hysterical rants to find the tidbits of facts. He does have some pretty radical ideas though… There was one that caused me to stop listening regularly

His RANDOM acts of violence: This was a few years ago so I will refresh memories. He said that the US government should respond to any terrorist attack, (anywhere in the world not just in the US) with a random military hostile action in one of the designated “Terror states”. I don’t think I need to spell out why that is nuts do I?

3113 Me and the wife go back and forth about this... she is always trying to dress my puppy up in some rediculouse get up. Nay I say NAY!

3113 There is another way… or a cheaper way rather… Modernization. Our aquaculture industry is woefully behind the times. This happened because it IS cheaper to pay illegal’s then it is to buy modern equipment.

Lori: I don’t think you really want me holding a political office. I am pretty middle of the road but I would do a lot of things that allot of you would strongly disagree with. Plus I am not a very tactful/diplomatic guy; so you know.

Aug 27, 2008 05:25PM

3113 well we agree on that ;)

3113 From what I heard on the news McCain actually had BO by 2 whole points! According to a gallop poll; this means nothing because they are still within the margin of error.

Like I said flat, and I don’t by the late summer doldrums. With how adamant people “seem” to be about their perspective guy I would expect to see a decisive translation in the polls. There isn’t, so what does that say?

3113 Corruption… CORRUPTIN. There is no reason why Mexico is in the state it is, except for corruption. Mexico enjoys a population of hard working people. Anyone that has grown up in the Chicago land area will attest to that. They work long and hard.

But just like with anyone else there is that percentage that is human scum. That scum is the reason immigration laws exist. Un-documented immigrants, pose a serious problem. Mainly because kicking out immigrants, that hold jobs, are suffering because of it. And does nothing to the violent criminal elements derived from their own country.

Part of the problem is the red tape we need to cut through to deport problem illegals. If I remember correctly; by the time we house them, send them in front of a judge and then deport them, were looking at a 20k bill for each one. (I admit I might be off on that $ amount, but for some reason it is stuck in my head…)

I think going after employers is a good channel to utilize. But with a nick tweak:
1) Require Companies to make available Un-documented worker enrollment packages to anyone employed that is an illegal immigrant. Also advertising this via management. Give an appropriate enrollment period… lets say 6 months, to comply. Any company/illegal immigrant that has not enrolled at that time is fined/deported
a) Completion of this packet would provide the government with accurate personnel information, temporary SSN, actual current address, and any other vital information. Along with the employers information.
b) These packages would then be submitted to the government. Once the package has been processed that person will have to go to the DMV to be ID’ed just like everyone else, and to verify their identity.

2) Persons that take advantage of this program will have an easy path to becoming an American citizen. Reasonable fines will have to be paid; the revenue from this can be used for seeking out illegal criminal elements. Or for securing the boarders.

3) Companies that do not comply with the distribution of the program and details will face heavy finds once the enrolment period is over (let’s say 10,000 per illegal per work week). Illegal immigrants will loose admittance into the system until they leave. Their only route to citizenship (or migrant worker status) will be through proper legal channels, including getting in back of the line.
**(Understanding that we live with a cumbersome bureaucracy as long as their packages are submitted and have an authentic temporary SSN they can continue to work until their case has been resolved.)

I also think there should be an annual adjustment to the immigration admittance to the country. Companies can submit their work force requirements (via a government website) and the percentage of their deficiencies. So Immigration officials can adjust how many people can enter the country legally. This would also help for the migrant worker side of immigration.

Well it is sloppy and loose but it is the best I could come up with off the top of my head. My goal is to encourage compliance for companies and illegal’s equally. But with heavy repercussions for not complying. Also a little helps in fixing the process on new in-bound immigrants.

3113 Is he running a good campaign? The polls seem pretty flat to me. I think the only person that really wanted the white house lost to BO. BO and McCain don't seem like their really fighting for the White House.

The flat polls are pretty funny to me. And make me feel pretty good too. Just another slap in the face to the Media. They are really throwing all they have into BO campaign and it isn't making an impact at all.

Aug 27, 2008 01:43PM

3113 Why would she do that, Jackie? When BO falls on his face she can pick up the seat in '12.
Aug 27, 2008 09:54AM

3113 Yeah I know that, I'm an asshole and my wife still puts up with me ;)
Aug 27, 2008 09:23AM

3113 People can learn from their mistakes... they can learn how to not get caught next time... I think it is safe to say that if someone cheats once they will probably cheat again. (Particularly if the root problem has not been corrected) I don't buy all the excuses either. I was a marine which makes me a professional drunk. No amount of booze has ever made me forget that I love my wife. But I know of many marines that used the "I was drunk and lonely" line. It stinks. Yeah breaking off a long term relationship can be pretty bad. But in the long run it is for the better.

3113 I don’t see anything wrong with Ms. Edwards keeping this to her self. I do see something wrong with the media keeping the “story” alive. As a public figure they did their job and reported actions by a man holding a public office; which could alter people’s willingness to support him in the future. But they have crossed the line; it is no longer anyone’s place to keep dicking a dead dog here.

As far as cheating swine male/female I have a simple solution. Kick the filthy bastard to the curb. I have always reserved the right to end any relationship based on faith infractions. If you are feeling the urge to stray, then it is time to talk to your significant other. Something is wrong and it needs to be fixed, or the two need to go their separate ways. I understand this can become complicated when children are involved, but it is much better if the kids see their parents acting civil instead of being destructive. At lest everyone will be able to move on and deal with one another in a civil manner. Daddy can still come over without mommy loading the gun or vise versa.

3113 Kids are a pain in the ass... I don't care how much you love them. They are still a pain in the ass; expensive pains in the ass. I don't see a big mystery here. I think I could sign on for a 4 month half pay deal. (For both parents, Mama gets 4 papa gets 4.

3113 Unpaid... I don't see how that is helpful. Perhaps a reduced salary based system.

You make $100 normally per/wk

You make $50 per/wk
