amazon.co.uk/Jah-Fire-Hugh-Mundell/dp...picked up for a little over £6, classy album by Hugh Mundell (or is it?). of the original 8 track lp 5 songs are sung by Mundell's friend, Lacksley Castell, only 3 by Mundell - no matter it's all good and bolstered by 3 bonus tracks feat, Augustus Pablo. by the end of 1983 both young men were dead, Mundell being murdered in october, Castell succumbing to an illness in november.

tremendous record, their best, and tbh, the only one i'll need, goes from one end to the other (set out in the order the songs were written) without any wastage. a punk triumph! the sad thing is that they are still ploughing on under the name with only Steve Diggle left of the original line-up. crossed the line to become their own tribute band? hmmm.
