213642 That one was the hard one for me. I read A Killing Frost (Ron Shade, #1) by Michael A. Black . It sucked, but at least it was something. :) I know there's One for the Money but I'm not an Evanovitch fan. I think there's several books with Money in the title, don't know if they are any good or not. Oh wait, I did read Dirty Money a while ago. It's later on in a series, but was a good enough book if you just want something quick.

I don't know anything about it, but I also came across Life's Golden Ticket An Inspirational Novel by Brendon Burchard in my searches.

213642 That's weird Ashley, I've never seen that before. Each image has to be the full code. So, if you wanted to show 5 Tokens, for side by side the codes would look like this:

< img src="http://i.imgur.com/QLUHoDA. png" width="100"> < img src="http://i.imgur.com/QLUHoDA. png" width="100"> < img src="http://i.imgur.com/QLUHoDA. png" width="100"> < img src="http://i.imgur.com/QLUHoDA. png" width="100"> < img src="http://i.imgur.com/QLUHoDA. png" width="100">

Minus the spaces (after the < & .) it would give you:

213642 Sorry for the delay in answering you, we've been discussing that all day (when Angie has been able to with work anyways).

We don't wanna be pains about it. On the one hand, the book not being able to use Articles at all means that BARCy Bites wouldn't apply to it, cuz there can't be one to ignore. On the other hand, we didn't think of that to expressly forbid it, though it's implied, but we do like to cover all our bases.

We'll have to allow it, this time. But we'll put into the general Rules & Regs that the Rewards can't be used for special challenges where the challenge is meant to be harder, that way it's a set rule that they can't be used, if we forget to specifically forbid it.

213642 Lock In is fantastic!! Love that book! :) One of my top 20 favorites I'd say.

I read George's Secret Key to the Universe for it, but other books I've read lately that have Key in the title have been ~ The Key to Extraordinary & Keys. If you like romance, Nora Roberts has a great Key trilogy starting with Key of Light.

For Keys on the cover there's ~

Incarceron (Incarceron, #1) by Catherine Fisher The Shattered Gates (Rifter #1) by Ginn Hale

D ~ Dexter's Final Cut
E ~ Eve
M ~ Mississippi Blood
O ~ Outland Exile
N ~ Nevernight

Dexter's Final Cut (Dexter, #7) by Jeff Lindsay Eve (Eve, #1) by Anna Carey Mississippi Blood (Penn Cage, #6) by Greg Iles Outland Exile (Old Men and Infidels #1) by W. Clark Boutwell Nevernight (The Nevernight Chronicle, #1) by Jay Kristoff

Picked D & M cuz they were later in series, figured you must like 'em. Picked E because I've had it on my TBR a while and I hear mixed things, so I'd like to know what you think. Picked O & N cuz I think both sound good and wanna know if I should put them on my TBR! :D Hope you enjoy!!

213642 Not yet. I have some ideas for that upcoming, maybe in the new year. :)

213642 Nice find Claire!

Sorry y'all, I had no idea. I figured it might be hard, but not that there weren't any!! If anyone does have any on Kindle, do let us know, I'd be curious if there are any at all!

We'll change it up to be "Read TWO Books whose page counts equal 666 pages"

I'll get everything changed up probably in the morning, as I'm getting ready to do dinner here. Sorry for that y'all!!

213642 Good catch Maya.

Sorry ladies, she's correct. I was focused so much on it being ok for the 8 word title I overlooked it starting with an article. :)

The Demon isn't easy to appease! :)

213642 It works because ignoring the subtitle, the title is 8 words long. You can always post it without the subtitle, to make it more official. :)

213642 Correct, Plethora. :)

That demon is cruel with his centerpiece challenge. It's a minimum of 74 (I think) books.

213642 Sorry Jenny, that wouldn't work. It's not a page count ending in just 8 but a page count ending in "08". So, for BARC, it'd have to be 208, 308, 408 and so on.

213642 I'm focusing on #8s since I read a lot of series. If you don't mind reading later in a series I have a ton I already read I can recommend.

This list might be helpful ~ Books with Really Long Titles, just make sure to steer clear of subtitles. :) Too bad I just read So Long, and Thanks for All the Fish a few months back. :) Any ladies into Chick Lit might wanna go with Fried Green Tomatoes at the Whistle Stop Cafe. :)

I have a bunch of books I read that are 308 pages. I'll get a list together tomorrow, if anyone wants it.
Oct 28, 2017 04:30PM

213642 Concurrently, with different books of course. :) Think of it as a separate challenge, we just put it here cuz it fit best, rather than on its own or in the plain BARC challenges.

213642 Tis ok. We're not being anal about things and making sure everyone does 'em right (unless it's for group/team stuff) so no worries. :)
