Congrats Carole and Judy. Not sure if it's old, but it's awesome either way!

Amy my family didn't personally sustain any serious damage to our property, but the city streets and buildings did. Trees are still laying everywhere with downed power lines and flood water. People are fighting at the pump again and McDonald's Wendy's and other fast food places are making a killing because most grocery stores are closed and or have damage. Cell towers are haywire too and my internet and tv are down. Taking the time to actually read now lol.

Me too. Internet services are still down so I can't do any work on magazine :-( but glad that I have at least spotty phone data to keep in touch lol

Just got some cell service back. Congrats Alex!

Thank you everyone for the kind words. I'm just getting enough internet now to check on emails etc.l, after one of the scariest weekends of my life. It opens your eyes to what's important and what you give your time to and makes you wonder if it's worth it. I don't have any regrets for what I have done, do, or plan to do when it comes to us indies and getting our names and books out there. In fact it makes me want to work harder. I want to thank you all for the sharing, the tweeting and the encouragement when days get hard and we all want to quit.
Thank you for fighting everyday to leave your mark on the world and getting your amazing stories out. There are people living in the "what ifs", but we did/do it everyday. So never quit, give up, or feel inadequate. Keep fighting the good fight and cherish every moment you have to follow your dreams.
Going to take a loooong nap after this sleepless ordeal. Love you all. Xoxo

I'm in Fort Lauderdale Lyra. The news posted that the hurricane is picking up on seismometers the equipment that detects earthquakes. Luckily I went to the gas station at 1 am and got a full tank but grocery stores are empty, people are fighting for what's left and gas station lines are backing into traffic. It's pouring out and I have to try to get some more stuff before I call it a day today. Stay safe

Me too Lyra. Where in Florida are you? They're saying Cat 6. I can't even concentrate in lecture right now

Thanks Amy. Our governor just declared a state of emergency and people are losing it at the gas stations and grocery stores already. Water is running out fast. This is gonna be a rough week

Lol Ted, yes Scotch is now on the supply list

Yeah I know but it'll distract me from the impending panic attacks

Yeah we board up, stick up on batteries water etc and wait it out pretty much. Since everything went digital all the little battery powered tvs don't work anymore so it's radio if we lose power. Will finally get time to read though lol

Thanks Theo. I'm in Fort Lauderdale with family in the islands so everyone is pretty terrified. Praying it veers away like Carole said

You're welcome. It hasn't come out yet. The new day is the 5th of the month and we will post on all social media too when it lets available.
