That's good to know. I guess I'll have to delist it on the other sites though which will be a pain in the buns...lol

So, I was looking at the KDP select program more in depth, and didn't realize that it had an exclusivity clause. My book is in pre-order status, with the 70% royalty, but I need to UNENROLL, (which I cant seem to do), because it is listed on alot of other sites for Pre-Order as well. I really don't like that you have to limit your material and wish I'd known sooner. What have others on here experienced regarding KDP select? Is it worth it to have your book available in only one place? What are the royalties like? Very curious.

It's ok, the idea is to also help create the content on your blog. The audience will come. So if your featured on someone else and they go to your site, at least you'll have the opportunity to build with newsletter signups, etc. My idea is it can simply be an interview about the Author and the book with a later review to follow if you wish.

Lana sat in the truck and watched the Tesla speed away. He was driving way too fast for someone she was supposed to be following. She started the truck, pulled onto the roadway and hit the gas. He was running! She should’ve known better and called the police—it served her right. It didn’t take a genius to see that she reacted to him like a grade school crush and when he caught on, he played her like a fiddle. Lana slammed her hands down on the steering wheel as she accelerated towards the car from hell. As hard as she pressed the pedal, the aging Ford couldn’t catch up to the Tesla. As her truck went up a steep hill in the road and came back down, the Tesla was nowhere in sight.
“Damn it!” she yelled, and took her foot off the gas, letting the vehicle slow down to speeds it was more accustomed.
She glanced down at the business card in the middle console and rolled her eyes. Kayden Capshaw had probably spent his entire life getting out of things like this because of his looks and she was just his newest victim. Taking another deep breath, the cherry scented car freshener slammed into her nostrils and made her feel nauseous. She grabbed it off the rearview mirror, rolled the window down and threw it out.

Like Carole stated, "we don't just hug here". I'm still ne..."Exactly. I feel like everyone is extended family. People I can count on and vice versa. This is what support should feel like.

LOL well XOXO right back at ya

Love this group and the people who started it and who are in it. Don't have to feel as if you'll be chastised or have posts deleted constantly like other places. And most importantly people are actually here to help and do so every single day!

Lol, will do. Loving it so far!

Hmmm now this has me thinking.... I have my book set to preorder at 2.99, Amazon suggested price and I've already gotten a few sales (wink to some on this thread) and wondering if I should change the price now? Will that look shiesty and will people be refunded the difference?
