Yup and with a team of dolls doing that and other unique things the impact is larger

It'd def be something worth trying. Imagine if all the members were the street team for one book for even 3days? That's a huge impact that could help many authors

Yeah I've thought about it but until I get fans.....lol

Oh yeah we did it for followers on twitter and the kickstarter campaign. You just have to have a goal in mind and the right motivates folks

Professionals would be best but most people use fans. And in the movie I did this for they got an autograph or a phone call from one of the actors. Just depends

You basically ask your fans or people you know. People who want to help

Typically it's a team of people that you work with where one will do all social media or stick to one kind, someone else will contact local business or bookstores in our case to arrange a signing, someone else does something else like maybe handing out bookmarks or books etc. I've used them in the past for another business. They can be a headache but useful if you get the right motivated people involved.

That would be an awesome idea! I watched an interview with Liliana Hart where she basically said she made more in iBooks since Amazon had changed so many rules. She's well known though so that could also be why she can possibly make more there. I'm going to remove my book from preorder at the other sites in the meantime. I don't want to start off on the wrong foot out of the gate.

I agree. I'm struggling a bit on the marketing and advertising part due to having no budget for it really. I try not to spam my Facebook and twitter either, which would just annoy people and turn them off. Thanks for all your insights guys. It takes a village!
