If you don't plan to read this article, I'll sum it up. The author had little or no understanding of how much work is involved with self-publishing. She takes pride in h..."You're so right about that too CC. A lot of trad published authors are secretly asking self-pubbers what they have to do to break away lol, saw that in a Joanna Penn interview recently and thought it was hilarious

Lol ok I'm gonna think on it. I'm the type that's can't turn off their brain and I'd be up for days

What's the scare factor on a scale of 1 to can't sleep for weeks cause I'm intrigued lol

Yes I couldn't agree more Erica

Totally agree. I've read books by trad publishers and thought "wtf" or couldn't even finish it at all.

I may try a google search lol

You can stick with that schedule but I had added that you can schedule how you want based on what other activities you already do on your blog

Her article is horrible and should never have been published."Seriously. I need to find that rebuttal lol. At least someone put her in her place.
Ember wrote: "The Huffington Post is garbage! I don't listen to anything from that "publication" If you can even call it that. Take it with a grain of salt. I would."I know but just the audacity of some of these traditionally published snobs. I guess when you have people like Amanda Hocking, J.A Huss and Liliana Hart making millions and getting to actually KEEP them, that has them pissed, but don't devalue anyone's hard work.

So I ran across this article and I'm kind of baffled, hurt and my blood is boiling so bad steam is coming from my ears. When will people stop labeling every indie production as garbage? I get some people out there don't take the time to hone a craft, but to label the entire industry as such? NO! And not to mention she seems to take no umbrage to taking self-published authors money to do what she thinks is probably justice. Maybe I'm over reacting but you judge for yourself:

Then you are going to soar I'm sure of it!

Well ya never know. PreOrders blog tours and interviews can fix that so don't despair

That's actually something to think about too cause Lord knows competing with the big houses is kinda impossible, then you have the really well known indies to contend with too...lots of strategies to think of

Yeah I gotta get on my gimmick game. Would like to do a takeover one day and have some cool giveaways and I think that would be awesome!
